We wish they had parking at the location, but overall, it was a great experience, and we will do it again. Family of 6 had a great time!!!

People there are really kind and helpful. It was my first time on an rv trip and thanks to the explanations and tips they gave me it was successful. I'll choose them again for my next trip.

Appalling. We are halfway through our holiday and this company illegally sent us out with a non functioning carbon monoxide detector and broken sewage system which puts wastewater in the shower. Tried to get replacement vehicle and told none available. Refused to refund for necessary hotel as water system unusable. Stated that if beds were sleepable then rv adequate as far as they’re concerned, which is a violation of contract. They have ruined our trip so far and we have little expectation of them fixing anything now as they have shown themselves to be completely unaccountable. Call centre outsourced to overseas where operators are friendly but can’t fix problems on the ground. This company just takes a lot of your money and doesn’t give a damn. They offered us service options which would involve driving 400 km in total back and forth to the very place that sent us out with this vehicle, and we would be expecting anything from them to break down again. No closer service or exchange or refund offered. Holiday ruined and hard earned money and vacation time wasted. Apparently they are finding us local options but if the only possibility is driving a half day and wasting even more holiday time they should just put us up in a hotel and let us use this as a hire car only. They say that local agents try to call you but we have no record of a missed call at the time they states. Lying cheating company.

The 30foot motor home we rented was given to me with less than 1/4 tank of gas to start with. After leaving the yard the a/c in the cab was working intermittently. I called to advise the company. The agent said someone would call me within a coupe hours to schedule someone to come out and fix it. Not only was the a/c in the cab not working but the a/c in the unit itself wasn’t working. I had to go to Walmart and buy a couple fans to get us through the day and night since this was July in Fl. All weekend long I called and called to speak to a manager to have the issue fixed and no manager ever called back. They couldn’t put me through to a manager only told they would have one call me back. We cut our weekend trip short one day because it was too much and no one was willing to help. When turned the vehicle back I asked for a full refund, but was told I had to write corporate. After writing corporate several times Marcos finally writes back and says they can only issue a $100 gift certificate for a future rental. No way will I ever rent from cruise America again and will make it known to everyone I talk to about that their customer service is horrible. Everyone points fingers at everyone else and no one wants to help.

This was our first time renting an RV and we found it great. This will probably be the “last” family trip as the kids are 22 and 19 and it worked out well. We had a 7 sleeper so plenty of room. The only suggestion I would make is that they should provide the basics without charge (broom, dishes, pots, pans etc..) the cost of $125 is reasonable but is it necessary. We got campsites right next to the Atlantic Ocean and woke up to the sounds of nature. Over all we lived the trip and the RV and recommend everyone try it.

Fantastic trip with a 30ft RV, easy to drive and use, the only thing im not satisfied was the girl who took me pick up the vehicle is unprofessional, but the website offers videos you can figure out all functions of this RV. Definitely come back.

This Friday, about 15 minutes before we arrived to pick up the RV we rented back in April, the rental company called us to say that they had no RV for us. We had to drive to our campsite and impose on generous friends bc we had no where to sleep but in their camper. My husband spent half of Saturday going back to pick up the RV. Cruise America blamed the rental company and the rental company said cruise America overbooks all the time. They offered us a 300 voucher but I’ll never use them again! They didn’t care at all. Ruined our weekend. It was really unbelievable.

We picked up our rental from the rental place. We had two major issues: 1. The generator would only function for 5-10 minutes at a time. I called support and went through all troubleshooting to no avail. The support person said that they would send someone to service it and they would call me the next day "at 10:30am." No surprise I received zero call. I took the generator apart in an attempt to remedy it and the entire thing was packed with grass and grime. It's not wonder it doesn't work. They do not maintain their equipment. The Cruise America rep also told me that the generator ran off propane (it says "unleaded gasoline" right on the generator itself and the rental agency confirmed it was gasoline). 2. The FRESH water smelled HORRIBLE. The strongest rotting egg smell I've ever smelled. After doing some googling, it seemed that sulfur dioxide (a toxic compound) can build up in the water system when maintenance is poor or parts need replacing. It was so bad it was nauseating to even run the sink or shower, so we didn't use either. They employee returning the rental said that it's the worst he's ever smelled. We were pressured by the returning agency to sign a paper saying we would accept $200 as a "payback" for our troubles. They still charged us for generator use despite it being very unreliable. Still never heard anything from cruise america. Felt pressured because the employees at the rental agency flat out told us that Cruise America's customer service is awful and our best bet for any reimbursement was this $200 up front.

Awful. Fraudulent franchisee stole my reservation fee and ruined our vacation at pick up by cancelling due to reasonable questions about document requiring signature not matching verbal assurances regarding the $3000.00 return fee
