I heard about Ritani through a friend who was looking to buy an engagement ring and she told me how well-priced Ritani was compared to other online vendors. She was right! I bought a gorgeous lab round brilliant that was priced much less than what my husband paid for my engagement ring a few years ago. I've been wanting to upgrade my stone and was very happy to find a beautiful stone based on my specs for less than $1,000. The stone was shipped and delivered within the timeframe Ritani stated on their website. Minus one star for the website navigation itself. The search filters are good, but you are unable to filter by crown and pavilion angle, so you must do a lot of digging if you're picky about those specs. Also, the search results do not show the diamonds at first glance; it's just a stock photo for each result. Sometimes if you hover your mouse over the image, you can preview the stone but not always. What's also frustrating is that you can't right click on the search results; I like to open many tabs so that I can cross-compare stones. Because of this, you are forced to click on the links one at a time and since the website automatically resets itself when you hit the back button, you have to start over and find where you left off. I can’t speak for their earth mined loose diamonds but I can say that their fancy shaped and fancy colored lab diamonds are severely lacking in selection and inventory. Cut is king and most of the stones they have are only “very good” and “good”, which isn’t “good” enough for me. The fancy colors are pretty weak in color, although I’ve seen a few nice pinks and yellows. I’m disappointed as I wanted to add an asscher and fancy blue oval. I've also heard some mixed reviews about their customer service and their jewelry/settings, but I have experience with neither, although these reviews did factor in with my decision to look into jewelry pieces from Ritani. I did notice that some of their jewelry was priced higher than their competitors, so make sure you shop around so you know where to get your money's worth. Overall a pleasant experience. I would not hesitate getting another loose round white stone with them in the future. For my lab asscher and blue oval, I’ll have to look elsewhere.

I previewed / ordered 3 loose stones with the option to return and find the overall experience really reasonable. Being able to preview at a jewelry store was a huge perk. Overall I find Ritani's pricing as one of the most competitive options online. For customer support, I had more luck with email or online chat over calling

After about a year of waiting and research, I ordered a loose lab diamond to upgrade my wedding ring. I did not know much about diamonds, I kept searching and to be honest, confused. One night I chatted with one of the Ritani support person and she was super nice explaining the difference and which one she recommended. I kept looking trying to decide and 2 days later a new stone with great quality came up with my search perimeter and I purchased it. I got mail information on every step and received the stone 2 days ago. It looks so gorgeous. I would purchase without a worry again from Ritani and to be honest, I don’t think I will ever purchase earth diamond after this point.

I purchased a loose diamond back in early July from Ritani. The whole process was fast and smooth. I searched all over for a setting for the diamond and decided to use Ritani again but just needed a slight customization. I sent an email on Aug 8th, which I never got a response. Again, I submitted another request for customization on September 15th. No response. I phoned in several times and was promised a prompt call back to get this process moving, but nothing! Fast forward to late November and I spoke with Sara about a week ago. I was able to get some acknowledgment, but the renderings were for a completely different ring than I had inquired about. I emailed Sara right away and did not receive a response, so I phoned in and she stated that she would put a rush on a new rendering to have it over to me by the end of the day. Nothing. I’ve called three times today and nobody is picking up the phone. It’s been almost 4 months! It seems like my business is not important. Who conducts business this way? Horrible experience all around.

I was helped by Sarah creating a custom engagement ring and she could not have been better. From creating my custom design to answering probably 20 questions, she was always prompt and helpful. The ring itself turned out better that I could have imagined, the 3D sample does not do it justice. Additionally, for the price I paid, this is 3x the size of ring I could’ve gotten anywhere else I’ve seen. The only issue I had in the whole process was when I got my original pricing for the ring, it could be more black and white on total cost. I wish I would have known my total cost including the stone and tax, so that I could’ve budgeted better. Admittedly, this problem could’ve been in part due to my ignorance on jewelry pricing in general. End of the day, I have already and will continue to recommend Ritani for anyone looking to get quality diamond jewelry.

I purchased 2 diamonds from Ritani, great price, no problems. I buy diamonds and gemstones, then create custom jewelry. Ordered a third diamond that seemed to be a great bargain, hundreds of dollars more on 2 other sites. if you don't know, many of these diamond sites are only brokers for the diamonds and the same stone can show up on several different sites. Ritani contacted me that this stone was not available. I found that strange because after ordering it, within a few hours it did disappear from one other site , remained on a third and was still listed there while I was being told it was not available. They offered me 3 other stones that I didn't consider bargains and had no interest in. Although they have supposedly credited my card, the charge remains pending after 2 days. Even worse, 1 day after telling me the stone was unavailable, it reappeared on their site , same IGI certificate #, same stock # but at a higher price. I contacted them and was given what seemed like a complicated answer that didn't explain why it was relisted at a higher price and just a day after I was told it wasn't available. Why had the second site continued to show it as available the entire time ? I do not believe it was ever sold, I believe the great price was just a bait to reel someone in and offer them less desirable diamonds. What I wanted was 1.5 carats and VS2, the largest stone offered was 1.22 more than 1/4 carat less in size and 2 of the stones were SI1. This would have been my 3rd purchase in 2 months time. While Ritani has great prices, if they're not going to sell you the stone, why bother ? Other sites with the same exact stones (just check the certificate #) are offering price matches, so do your homework and don't fall for the old bait and switch.

My fiancé proposed in early October; the ring is absolutely gorgeous. He said ordering was a great experience and customer service was helpful at that point. However, when we went to resize the ring, we first called Ritani and we were told to bring it to our nearest Ritani vendor, or to mail it in. We called the nearest vendor, they also confirmed to bring it in. The nearest vendor was 2 hours away— we made a day of it and drove to the store, only for them to tell us that we have to mail it in, despite confirming this with Ritani and the vendor previously. They also told me that two diamonds in the band of my ring were not properly set and were at risk of falling out. I immediately went to contact Ritani; they were closed so I left a message. Two days later my fiancé called, no one answered. Another two days later he called again, and the customer service rep told us we’d have to email customer service to get a shipping label, then send the ring to Ritani for inspection before they’d repair it. We emailed customer service and did not hear back for several days. I had never received a response to my message, and my fiancé never heard back from his. At this point I was anxious about sending my ring to Ritani and instead took it to a local jeweler for a quote. They couldn’t believe the ring had made it past quality inspection with the way the diamonds were set. They quoted me less than $100 to repair and resize the ring. I was far more comfortable giving my ring over to a local business than sending it to Ritani at this point. The local store had it repaired and resized within 48 hours. Several days later Ritani finally responded with a shipping label; as of now (several weeks later) I have not received any response to my original message. My ring is beautiful, but support after the order is terrible.

I was very excited to buy from Ritani but my experience quickly went down the drain once I made the order for an engagement ring. My order was delayed 4 times. I had to constantly message their support team to be updated about my order as their system is very buggy. After 3 delays my order was finally shipped with "Priority Overnight". However, that was not the case. After reaching out to Fedex I learned that Ritani created a label but did not hand it to Fedex so my overnight shipping is becoming 5 day shipping. Im currently still waiting for my order to arrive....I will update this more when I get more info. I will say that the customer support was very responsive when they were actually in office. Even if they never solved my issue with shipping they were very good responsive and kind! Very impressed! If you are looking to buy from this site then be ready for your order to arrive in about a month or more. With all this said I will not be purchasing from Ritani again. Better off using JamesAllen or RareCarat. My order still has not arrived...If it ever does arrive I will make sure to update this post. {update} I received my order on 10/20/22. The ring is beautiful and happy with how it looks. I will be increasing my review to a 2 star. Ritani needs to do two things. Provide realistic shipping estimates and allow the customer to track their order accurately.

The ordering was easy - selection of the setting, diamond, etc. Difficulty reaching customer service via telephone but they are responsive via the "chat" tool and an e-mail was responded to fairly quickly. If they sent more updates during the time between the order date and the shipping date, that would be helpful, too. The people I dealt with were very nice and very responsive.

I had a great experience with Ritani. I purchased a diamond for my wife for our anniversary. She loves it. The price was great, the light performance is amazing and the diamond arrived on time in perfect condition. The website is user-friendly & they have awesome customer service. I highly recommend Ritani !

I found ritani on a wedding website and according to them ritani was one of their top picks. So I tried them out. The diamond selection was easy, the setting was easy, and the checkout was easy. The only thing I have to complain about was the estimated delivery time was a few days off but luckily I wasn't on a time crunch! Definitely will recommend to a friend!

Ritani's communication is poor. Yet they blame you for the poor communication. They told me I did not receive a reply to my online chat inquiry because I went on their online chat on a weekend, I left my email and messages everytime I went on there however, no one got back to me during the week. Additionally, when I went on their online chat it says you are number one or second in line and your wait time is less then 3 minutes. which contradicts their online service was not in operation when I tried so many times!!!

I don’t often leave reviews but when spending such a huge sum on an engagement ring without seeing it in person I was obviously a little bit hesitant. Couple this with being on the other side of the world then it did leave me a bit anxious about the beginning of the process. I have to that from start to finish they delivered an excellent experience and truly did listen to all of the requirements and concerns I had. There were multiple instances with the courier and also Customs that left me confused and a bit stuck but I have to give a massive shout out to Phil from the finance team for accelerating the process and guiding me through a typically tricky procedure. Once the ring arrived it went down like a storm and my newly found fiancé is over the moon. I can’t thank Phil and his team enough and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again - I have already recommended their service a friend!

My experience with them was pretty awful, time consuming and very aggravating. First off they do most of their communication via email, which is very frustrating and lends itself to misunderstandings and delays in communication. However, good luck getting a hold of someone by phone. No one answers. When I first contacted them (via email) I had an immediate response from Sylvia. I responded back right away with two diamonds I was very interested in. I was planning on purchasing one of them. Never heard anything back. Sent out a few more emails. Nothing. Finally I left a voice message 5 days later and Sylvia called me back. By the time She finally got back to me one diamond was sold (the one I was more interested in) And the Other Diamond had gone up in price! It took a lot of back-and-forth emailing, but finally they agreed to honor the original price, but I lost out on the additional 3%. They also did not have any of my original diamond certification or paperwork even though it was only five years ago. They charged me an additional $175 for re-grading. They said they were going to send it to GIA, but they regraded the diamond themselves and still charged me $175. They also sent me the diamond by mistake, but I wasn’t home to sign, so I never received it but they charged my account, the wrong account 8k. No one alerted me to the error and I had to make a few calls to get a credit to my account, which was 4 days later. Unfortunately I was locked into them because we were doing an upgrade w a trade in. So financially it made a lot of sense to get another diamond with them. The pro is the diamond is lovely and our hometown jeweler said the diamond matched the paperwork received. If this is your first time w buying a diamond I recommend checking out James Allen or Blue Nile. They seem to have very competitive pricing. Do your due diligence and read other reviews about Ritani.

We ordered a 1.5 carat lab created diamond, which came with a certificate. However, it tested as a moissanite instead of a diamond. We'll be returning the ring.
