Just make sure you abide by their 30 day returns policy, when you go over that time they have a buy back program where you get charged about 25% for restocking fees. That's still not the problem as they disclose that when you reach out to find a way to return the item. What drives me nuts is that according to them they evaluate the ring when it comes in.... here is where I get very displeased. Eventhough the ring never left the box it came in, the person who inspected the ring said it had two indentations. And again the ring never left the original box. So this must be a way for the company to get more money out of the customer ( which is specially bad when you are returning an engagement ring due to sad situations... it feels like they kick you when you are down). If the ring had indentations it came that way.... but whatever. In the end they took another 10% off the setting price.

United States | 08 December 2020Bait and Switch I ordered an ear ring with custom diamonds displayed on the Ritani website. I get email next day saying one of the diamonds is not available. I responded immediately with an alternate diamond SKU. I don't hear back for two days and finally had to call Ritani to get update. After about a week, I get email with wrong customer name stating the diamonds I had picked are not available and the price on the website was wrong. I wasted one week trying to work with Ritani to get a gift for my wife. I would highly recommend to use some other jeweler and give Ritani a miss for their bait and switch and bad customer experience.

United States | 29 November 2020Ritani is AMAZING! Two years ago, my now husband proposed to me with a 2.5 CTW Platinum Five Stone Radiant Cut Wedding Band from Ritani. It is stunning! I actually wear that as my engagement ring with bands on each side. (I work in the dental industry and wanted to be able to wear my rings without snagging gloves like a solitaire would.) This Christmas, my husband is spoiling me with a diamond pendant necklace. We wanted to pick the diamond ourselves and selected a 1.51 CT radiant cut, lab-born diamond. We ordered it on a Friday evening. That Monday, we got a message from Ritani stating that the partner vendor that held the stone we purchased had it out on memo, so it was not available. In the same message, they offered an alternative diamond of the same carat weight, but with superior clarity and color (G to F). AND, they offered the alternative for the SAME price we paid for the diamond that we initially ordered. I was in shock. Too good to be true? Nope, Ritani is just that awesome. We agreed to the alternative diamond and they had it delivered that Wednesday. It is gorgeous!! It was an incredible “deal” and Silvia with Ritani could not have been a better communicator! She was super informative when we were calling with questions about the initial loose diamond we ordered and very quick in corresponding about the alternative diamond and order updates. We are 2 for 2 with great Ritani experiences!

United States | 29 September 2020Our stone did not test as a diamond!! Unsure if it is really a diamond or a moisannite. Testing positive for moissanite at 2 different jewelers. Will be returning for full refund. Not happy.

Less than 24 hours later they send me an email stating the vendor no longer has this stone available (even though it was still listed on their website). They said the only stones they have available with the same specifications will cost me more than double my original purchase price. This is a classic Bait and Switch, STAY AWAY from this company.

South Africa | 10 September 2020I am currently going through a hair pulling exercise with AMRITA at Ritani. Worst sales assistant ever. I have sent two emails wanting to check availability of a certain diamond. No response. 48hrs later I send a message to contact me back. No response . I went on the chat system out of desperation and deal with Amrita. After back and forth about this lack of customer service , fair enough we agree on a diamond and setting. Great. We are international customers and want to click checkout and pay. And guess what. No payment options are available for international buyers from Ritani (not even PayPal) except for bank wire. So the endless list of payment options on their website mean nothing . This is for their own security reasons. So if your an international client don’t even bother clicking checkout online- Amrita said they will reject the order. For a first world country, it seems like a third world checkout system. Okay fine , I’m now annoyed but we agree to pay with bank wire. Been waiting for the invoice since yesterday... and still waiting . I don’t understand how slack a company can be . I’m READY TO PAY !!!!!!!!!!!!! Bank wire already takes another two days to clear. If I use PayPal like I wanted it would be instant! in summary it will take me 7 days to place an order with this company. A most disappointing experience so far.... Money to spend but no effort from Ritani to conclude a sale . Is there any other diamond company in USA that uses PayPal that wants my money - contact me . UPDATE - 6 days later and still no invoice received to pay?????? !!! I keep chasing Amrita for an invoice and she continues to tell stories about the shipping department. When I call her out on her crap she says they Suddenly can’t Ship to us in the same breathe and closes the chat. I chased this incompetent sales lady for six days and she continually closes my chat because I don’t believe her stories. I get shipments from USA all the time! Amrita needs help. It was a $1800 order but anyway good luck dealing with this backwards company.

We returned it and when placing a new order, we kept being given different delivery dates with only finding out by us contacting them. As a way to remediate the situation, we were offered a $5 "sterling silver" pendant. No, I would have wanted what I was promised, not some cheap pendant.

Updated rating from 2 to 4 stars.** ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been a Ritani customer for years. I've done multiple transactions- from purchases, to exchanges, to upgrades- and all have been great until they updated their website about a month ago. They were able to give you an ETA almost instantly in the past, but now, it's like pulling teeth to get an answer. Customer service reps have mostly been courteous, although there were a couple of times when I've followed up that it felt like I'm being rushed off the phone. I wouldn't be calling as much and a little less annoying to the reps if I were able to track my transaction online. It's been almost 11 days since they've received my ring at the studio and still no ETA. What's going on?

United States | 20 July 2020My wife loves the necklace. It arrived a little over a week after I ordered it. It looks great and fits her perfectly. The only thing I didn't like was that I was not able to track my order through the website, as Ritani had been updating their system during this time. This doesn't seem like it should take a week to do, and I had to call to get details on the order. Even so, I do believe I will be a customer of Ritani's again.

United States | 10 July 2020I had no idea that once you buy (meaning go through the process of finding a diamond you and your fiance love and putting it into a setting) that it doesn't mean you get that diamond. This was heartbreaking for me and my love. It felt like the carpet was pulled out from under us. I was told this happens with all online shops (James Ellen, Blue Nile, etc.) However, several employees worked with me to help me find a diamond that was comparable. Was it the exact one we wanted? NO. But no matter where I looked (and trust me, I looked) I couldn't find anything more comparable than what I was presented at Ritani. It was an unfortunate blow to a happy time but Ritani worked with us to make it so we were happy with our purchase and I am thankful for that.
