We have just returned from an 11 week trip to Asia, Australia and New Zealand, with all our flights and small group tour co-ordinated via Travel Nation. Jim was absolutely brilliant at listening to our quite specific needs and requirements and tailor-made us an itinerary - and then happily made changes as our plans evolved. Nothing was too much trouble, he gave us lots of helpful advice regarding times needed for various locations and airlines to avoid and generally made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Travel Nation definitely saved us money on our complicated flight schedule and we had lots of back up phone numbers in case there were any issues. I would thoroughly recommend using these guys.

Enjoyed working with our travel consultant Chris West to get the right fit in terms of itinerary and hotels for our trip to Sri Lanka. We enjoyed the trip immensely and it was planned and well thought out. We stayed in some amazing properties that were recommended and couldn’t fault anything. Graham was amazing from start to finish - he listened to my preferences, amended the itinerary whenever I asked for things to be tweaked, clearly explained what my options were in terms of stop over times, hotels, domestics flights etc. and took time to find what he thought would work best for me. He listened to my hotel suggestions and ensured I was happy with the hotels on offer. He even asked if we'd like the back row of the plane on the way to our destination, to make the journey more comfortable for my partner and I. Graham responded quickly to my many emails, and was extremely helpful and understanding throughout the booking process. I would recommend Graham to anyone looking to book the trip of a lifetime! Just back off the most incredible 3 week honeymoon that we booked with Tracey at Travel nation. Tracey was so helpful from start to finish. She was incredibly knowledgable about South Africa and Mauritius and really made sure everything that we had booked was in perfect sequence and made sure we stayed in the best places for our budget. We had a really clear and detailed itinerary which was easy to follow and everything was available on the website and the app. Tracey checked in a number of times before and during to make sure we were happy which was much appreciated. Everything we did and everywhere we stayed was wonderful and we really did have the best 3 weeks of our life, and we will absolutely use Travel nation again.

I have been planning a trip of a lifetime to South America which was quite in depth. The service we got from Adam and his colleague Charlie was exceptional. Had to make some unforeseen last minute changes and it was no problem at all for either of them This is my second big trip I’ve booked with Travel Nation and I will book again in the future- highly recommend this company their service and their people

Booking our holiday with Travel Nation was one of the best decisions we have made. Grainne was our personal expert and she was amazing, really super helpful when we were planning and super responsive and knowledgeable when we had questions or needed more support from her. We worked with her to create a fabulous 8 week schedule and round the world trip to New Zealand, Australia and Singapore. We loved the flexibility of the service, in that we could rely on Grainne to sort out certain elements of our trip, while we organised other parts where we felt more confident. Overall, we cannot recommend Grainne and Travel Nation highly enough and if you are worried about taking the plunge, don't hesitate to go with them - you definitely won't regret it.

Olly at Travel Nation did a fantastic job booking our round the world trip. Especially as he had to do it twice when we found out that we had to delay our departure by 6 months We were able to taylor the flights to link all the countries we wanted to visit. The add-on trips he booked for us with G Adventure were really worth while and both ran super smoothly. He worked with us all along before our departure to find the best combinations of flights, timings and locations. Best of all, once we had left we never had to contact him as all went very well. Olly from travel nation recently created a very special round the world trip for us, we were able to”bolt on” extra destinations during the planning phase and he seamlessly added these without complication. His knowledge of many of our destinations was very impressive and advice invaluable. Because of his thoroughness, the 3 month trip went without a hitch. Travel nation were always contactable should the need arise and even pre warned us of a landslide on our route and possible alternative! We would have no hesitation in recommending both T.N. and Olly ( and have done so on several occasions) and intend to book our next trip with them.

My trip was booked by Jim Faulkener - the brief; I want to go to Australasia (I think) and I enjoy beaches, culture and wine. Jim managed to create a tailormade trip with the briefest brief, and with a lot of chopping and changing (my indecision, sorry!). The result, was a life enhancing experience. I want to thank Jim and all the team at Travel Nation for their efforts, I now know what kind of traveller I am, and am ready to spend my days exploring and experiencing everything the world has to offer. The flights - window seats all the way, manageable connections, transfers where it mattered, accommodation that suited me and more importantly made me feel safe, and the most exceptional trips/excursions; all worked beautifully and seamlessly. The way you and your whole team supported me with the ash cloud that resulted in cancellation of my flights whilst in Bali was outstanding and I cannot thank you enough. I feel confident I would be less of a pain to book for in future now that I have a better idea what I need out of travel and that is thanks to you. You won't quite understand this I am sure, but women over 50 often lose their purpose, along with their looks, their figure and their place in the family, as their children set of on their own journey in life. This trip gave me back, and even gave me a new - purpose, and I found the "Katie" in myself that I had not seen in almost 30 years. Jim Faulkner made the 9 week trip around the World. Departed UK on the 07th of October andreturned on the 13th of December. Travel basis: UK - Japan - South Korea - Australia - Tasmania - NZ and onto the West then East coast of USA and back to UK, flight planning for the 19 flights so easy. All went very well and no unexpected mishaps. Totally 100% happy and can certainly recommend Jim and Travel Nation.

We booked with Adam. I cannot express how superb the service was. We gave him a shopping list of places and flights. Changed the route, date on occasion, finally sorting it all out. He was excellent. Professional, courteous and made suggestions to our itinerary which were very helpful. I would highly recommend him and Travel Nation. The service was second to none.

Our agent, Adam earned his salary making adjustments caused by us and then later by cancelled airline flights. It was particularly reassuring that we had seats reserved on flights in advance. We asked for a combination of planes, trains and accommodation and his choices and suggestions were all sensible and worked out well. Not cheap but worth it for the feeling of security. As good as Trailfinders who sadly gave huge amounts of money to the Tories which annoyed us.

Chris at Travel Nation gave us good guidance in choosing our tours and put together a fabulous package for one month in Equador and Peru. Everything worked to plan and Chris was always on hand to answer questions, even while we were travelling. We are very pleased with Chris and Travel Nation.
