After ending my Travel Nation RTW ticket I would like to give my feedback because I don’t think they should only build their fame and image advertising good reviews but also should improve over not so good reviews: To be honest, I cannot recommend Travel Nation service. First of all, when I bought the trip, it included Africa but after Covid they forced me to do it without a Continent for the same amount I had already paid. During the trip, I did not feel any kind of concern or care for me and even when I asked for help to find out about requirements to enter a country, I was not provided with this information. On top of all this, if I wanted to change a flight date, I would have to pay, but they changed my Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul twice and I was not entitled to any kind of compensation. As if all this were not enough, on the final stretch of my trip I had to return to Lisbon (hometown) in an emergency due to the death of my father-in-law. I notified the agency more than 2 weeks in advance that I would not be able to attend the Kathmandu > Istanbul flight (creating an opportunity to the Airline make more money with an already paid flight), but that I wanted to keep the Istanbul > Lisbon flight, both on Turkish Airlines. The travel agent Claire was kind but unable to handle the issue in the fairest and most suitable way for me because I had to pay an extra GBP 55.60 for the exact same flight I already had paid from Istanbul to Lisbon. 🤦‍♂️ For the above, my experience with Travel Nation was not positive neither fair for any average reasonable human being and was based on more fame than actually good service. _______ I edit my review as a way to be able to give feedback to the feedback received from Travel Nation, for the writing of Mr. Jonny Goodall: Dear Mr. Jonny Goodall, First of all, thank you for your feedback, however, taking into account the content of the same, it is clear that your sole interest is to improve your argumentative skills and not the Travel Nation service, which was my intention when I had the trouble to write you a sustained review. For this reason, I am sorry that you have such a diametrically opposed view from what happened and that reality, naturally, you have not experienced it as I have. I recognize your marketing skills, but your feedback reinforces and confirms what was the direction of my review... it is a marketing empty of sustenance, little interested in learning from the reviews that are less favorable. Having said that, I can only confirm that you have lost me as a future customer and I will certainly not be able to recommend Travel Nation to my family and friends travelers. All the best. Nuno

We have booked many trips through Travel Nation. We keep re-using their services as they are consistently helpful and knowledgeable. Over a period of years David Taylor has provided us with multiple travel options, finding the best value and most convenient flights. He has always been unflaggingly helpful and through his extensive travel knowledge and experience we've enhanced our plans with additions to our itineraries which have always been perfectly tailored to our interests and requirements.

We managed to pack in so much in the two week road trip from San Francisco to Phoenix with the help from Travel Nation. Contrasts from Napa Valley wine to Yosemite to Pebble Beach and the Pacific Highway to Las Vegas, Zion national park and Grand Canyon. The trip went as planned and has created many lasting memories. No need to make America great again because it already is - says this Brit.

I had not used Travel Nation before but decided to give them a try as my usual go to travel agent yet again failed to come up with the inspiration and value I was seeking for a trip to French Polynesia. I’m really pleased that I saw an online Travel Nation advert and I made contact. I was put in touch with their senior travel consultant David Taylor. He asked me relevant questions about budget, timescales & objectives and then put together an unforgettable dream holiday to French Polynesia I would never have thought have. As David had holidayed in FP himself, he suggested we experience 5 islands including Bora Bora & a private island resort over 19 days. Plus we decided on a stopover in San Francisco. After speaking to him several times I trusted his judgement and was glad that he offered ideas & views. All the hotels he booked for us were fabulous, not the international brands but nevertheless good standards, excellent rooms and locations including beautiful beach front and a water bungalow - a treat in our last destination Moorea. We left FP feeling fully relaxed and feeling quite lucky! Travel Nation partnered with Tahiti Nui Travel to meet & greet us, and they too were efficient and ensured everything went smoothly. We were booked on inter-island flights that were all at reasonable times - no early wake ups or late arrivals and all maximising our time at the hotel / islands, rather then airports. Back home now and I’ve already been in touch with David to say thanks and that I can’t wait to see what suggestions he comes up with for us in 2023. I’ll not hesitate to recommend him and Travel Nation.

Just returned home from the most incredible road trip through California, Nevada and Arizona. We had initial ideas for where we wanted to go, but Claire at Travel Nation made it a reality for us. 17 nights, 10 locations and 2,500 miles of driving went without a hitch for our family - it was awesome at every stage. LA to San Diego, to the deserts, canyons and Route 66, on to Vegas, the national parks, San Francisco and the Pacific Highway back to LA - a jam-packed trip with some seriously great sights and experiences. I'd highly recommend talking to the team at TN for your trips as they made it a straightforward and helpful experience every step of the way. We'd use them again without a doubt and hopefully will do in another year or so ;-)

I used Travel Nation to arrange my trip to French Polynesia, a destination that I had not travelled to before. I described the sort of experience that I was seeking, involving multi-island destinations, several transfers, internal flights and changes of hotel. I half expected for there to be some hitch or snag in my complicated itinerary, but I have to say that everything went smoothly and the correspondent agents that Travel Nation used in Tahiti and at the other destinations performed brilliantly; always on time with the correct paperwork. The hotels were of an excellent standard and I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Toward the end of the trip I had to change a flight and the UK office were there to support me in the request. Throughout the experience I felt well supported with both the online documentation/itinerary and with the personal contacts when I phoned the office. I would recommend Travel Nation and I look forward to making a return journey to these wonderful islands.

Grainne Sheffer must be the epitome of what all travel agents should aspire to becoming. In a word she is peerless ! She gave us so much help & support in various perilous and anxious moments, including being trapped in a huge earthquake event in New Zealand a few years ago. She can be relied upon to understand and cater for personal likes and dislikes when arranging ones travel itinerary. Grainne is proactive in anticipating when to give assistance & is most responsive to enquiries. A treasure of which Travel Nation should be most proud.

Claire has been amazing in creating a great itinerary for our one-time family trip to Asia, providing fast and flexible service to help us craft exactly what we wanted. I have already recommended you to my friends. We are really looking forward to our trip.

Claire was amazing and very helpful throughout the entire process. The trip we initially booked had to be changed due to a country being on the no fly zone. Claire did this very quickly and even helped us think of ideas of where we could go. When we were on our honeymoon everything was very well organised and we had the perfect holiday

We have recently returned from a multi city visit to the USA. Not only did travel nation secure excellent value for the flights, but we were kept up-to-date as soon as anything changed. The staff are efficient, courteous and completely on the ball.

I normally put my holiday packages together myself but due to the complexities of the Borneo Trip decided to go with Travel Nation (who I must admit I was not aware of). It was an excellent decision because Jim Faulkner did not put a foot wrong in the organising of our Kuala Lumpur/Borneo holiday. Every connection was on point, all the pick ups were on time with smiley Malaysian faces welcoming you before taking you to the onward part of our journey. Jim was patient with my changes, always returned my calls promptly and kept in touch via emails. I can't recommend Travel Nation highly enough and we have already given Jim our next itinerary!

Every time I use Travel Nation they have found me great deals on flights and hotels. When I phoned about flights to Australia with a stop over and domestic flights Charlie went the extra mile to find me a great deal. She also found me a really great hotel in Kuala Lumpur at an amazing price. I would definitely recommend Travel Nation.

Just had the most amazing holiday Massive thanks to Ruth who from start to finish ensured all travel and hotel arrangements were first class despite being changed due to Co-vid. Visited Singapore (Sentosa and gardens by the bay) exceptional Darwin (Go see the Jumping Crocodiles) Brisbane (Lone pine sanctuary cruise a must do) Port Douglas ( Best tour ever to Outer Barrier reef) Went snorkelling, then in submarine then helicopter over it) Stayed with family in Adalaide visited Mclaren Vale and Goolwa highly recommend, then Perth(Must do is a cruise down the Swan river. Cannot recommend Travel Nation and Ruth highly enough for this exceptional trip

We booked a trip-of-a-lifetime holiday to French Polynesia with Travel Nation and were delighted with every bit of help provided. Chris (in the main) and everyone else that we dealt with were patient, knowledgeable and efficient. The hotels they recommended are amongst the best places we have ever stayed in.

We have just got back from a trip exploring the Pacific Northwest of the US and Canada. We explained what we wanted and worked with Milly and Jim, both of whom provided excellent and clear advice no matter what we asked! Not only did they create an amazing trip based on what we knew we wanted to see, the incredible knowledge of the areas we were going to visit meant that they were able to suggest tours, things to see and places to stay to make the trip perfect. The clear and detailed documentation provided meant that when we were out there, the whole thing ran smoothly! Cannot rate Travel Nation enough and a huge thanks to Milly and Jim!

I booked a trip to Tanzania (Inc. Kilimanjaro) with Scott at TN. Right from the outset he understood what I was looking for and offered a lot of options and knowledge for a fairly time-restricted trip. Everything was discussed thoroughly and the attention to detail of the entire trip was second-to-none. I honestly could not have been happier with the service and the trip!

Jim Faulkner put together a tailored itinerary for Patagonia, covering two massive highlights, the Perito Moreno Glacier, and Mt. Fitz Roy. The service was thoughtful and professional, and communication was excellent. Highly recommended!

I can't rate Travel Nation, and specifically Clare Parsons, highly enough. Clare was brilliant! She listened carefully to our requirements and was patient as our plans changed, giving excellent advice along the way. The 16 flights on our once in a lifetime around the world trip ran perfectly to plan which made for a very relaxed experience. I would highly recommend Travel Nation and will be using them again in the future.
