The meal made from native and foraged items was super delicious and unique and the paper resource given about edible plants items was good. It was a big let down that we couldn't do the forage walk due to track slippage. They really should have checked beforehand as the cyclone would likely have caused some damage. I did very much dislike how half of the day was very much off topic and not about foraging. However they did provide a slideshow of lots of edible plants which was good. It's a real shame and I wouldn't have gone on the trip if I knew that there wouldn't really be much foraging at all or too much talking about other stuff. However the speaker directing us through the day was incredibly friendly and is very knowledgeable. One thing I did find concerning though is that they didn't mention the laxative affects that some of the items could have of you eat too much.

Very well structed and informative. The techies were of a great help with the zoom links. Found it very informative. Open book assessment was great and the markers were very helpful in their responses.

Tony was amazing. I absolutely hate sitting in classrooms now and Tony made it really enjoyable and bearable. I had a great time and really appreciate the School for creating a nice space to do the course. Thank you very much

The course could be done remotely which was wonderful, and the hours of the course worked around my children at school which was fantastic. The course was interesting, informative and well run. Celia was clear, concise and articulate and the notes provided were thorough but not too OTT. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to do their LCQ. Thank you Celia and team.

The course was run really well. All questions by attendees were answered and not left aside. Celia was great in her delivery of the material, she was clear and mentioned the different aspects of what she was talking about, which made it easy to follow in the course book material to take notes.

Great course with an entertaining chef. I didn't have any expectations signing up for this course, but I learned a lot and it was an entertaining few hours :) The Chef teaching the course was very professional with a good sense of humor and enthusiastic about what he was teaching which helped to keep it entertaining. All in all I would 100% recommend this course to anyone who is keen on learning something new and experiencing the art of bread in a fun environment. At the end you leave with loads of loafs, you can give away to friends and family :)

I thought the LCQ course well organised and well-run. The course facilitator was very good, interesting, articulate, a few amusing and interesting anecdotes thrown in at appropriate times to hold your attention and obviously there with the intention of getting you through the course, not failing you. I would recommend anybody looking at their LCQ to do it through NZ School of Food and Wine.

The learning in the urban forage trek was outstanding. And some new flavors at lunch. It would have been a bonus to actually cook with some of the plants. Even just to watch the kawakawa dip being made. But overall it was inspiring and a huge thank you to ricky
