New Zealand | 03 June 2023Venue was a well-equipped professional cooking school kitchen. This gave plenty of space for each student and a reasonable supply of ovens. The instructor appeared well qualified and was experienced as a cooking instructor offering many hints and tips plus keeping things moving. Most of the items I cooked were successful, all the recipes were definitely capable of good results. Was a little surprised to be involved with the rest of the class in cleaning up at the end of the course.

New Zealand | 19 May 2023Don't get me wrong. The course is already very intensive, packed with background knowledge and practical within the one-week time frame. Even so, there is still quite a gap in terms of experience to make coffee drinks in great consistency with minimum waste of ingredients - pretty much a minimum requirement for barista working in a busy cafe. To fill that gap, one needs a lot of practice (amount, extraction, milk foam & temperature, latte art, etc.), and find ways to do that. It is only after one has mastered these that (s)he is truly a barista graduate.

New Zealand | 18 May 2023I've got a great experience from here. I took LCQ class (online) and 4 days for NZ Wine Micro-Credential class (in person). All lectures, covered and concise the point. Definitely, I have plan to study more in higher level with NZ School of Food and Wine.

New Zealand | 17 May 2023I did the video-call LCQ Course (on May 12th) and I found everything easy to understand and remember. They sent us a workbook beforehand and Celia worked through it in the call so everybody actually understood the material and had time to ask questions. There was great communication leading up to the day so I knew what to expect and what to do when, and the tutor was really prompt with marking. I had a great time :)

New Zealand | 15 May 2023I loved the students that were apart of the course. everyone was very friendly and I think everyone participated very well. The head chef was amazing. Her instructions were always clear and she was always willing to offer help where ever we needed. The recipes we used were also very clear and provided us a clear path on how to do our cooking and baking. The food we also made was very yum and I think it was a good variety of things.
