United Kingdom | 14 February 2017The agent who showed us the flat we ended up taking told us that many repairs and improvements would happen in the flat both before and during the tenancy. For instance, he said the broken lock on the front door would be fixed, the mould present along all of the windows would be removed, and the flat would be professionally cleaned before move-in. Furthermore, he said that during the first few months of our tenancy the single-glazed, mould-ridden, insecure windows would be replaced. None of these things happened and we moved out as soon as we could. I would never use these agents again as a tenant.

We did have a few issues with the property, however these were managed persistently by the company and we always felt that we could speak to someone.
