United States | 12 November 2015From the reservation agents to the guides, everyone we dealt with was very knowledgeable and competent. I highly recommend this company for all your Icelandic travel needs. When the weather was bad, they had great alternatives for us. The guides were a wealth of information. The drivers were safe. I would definitely use them again if I return to Iceland.

United States | 12 November 2015We were a group of five that joined the tour and had an absolutely amazing time. Unfortunately I do not rememeber the name of the guy that provided the tour but he was a funny and charming character. He kept us entertained the entire journey and provided knowledge around the surroundings. When a friend of ours accidentally broke one of the crampons on the tour, the guide was there to the rescue with a spare and of course, more jokes.

United States | 12 November 2015this guide was the best for assessing everyone's comfort level and skills in a warm and enthusiastic way. When I expressed my fears of heights he reassured me that we would be able to successfully navigate any dangerous terrain. IMG were responsive timely and GREAT!!!!

Canada | 12 November 2015My wife, two adult daughters and I had a wonderful half day hike. The equipment fitting and safety briefing were good and our guide did a great job of leading us on a fabulous route and providing excellent information on the changing nature of the glacier due to climate change. Descending into an ice cave by way of a via ferrata was an unexpected highlight!

Australia | 12 November 2015It was an absolutely amazing experience. Our guide Ivar was informative, funny as hell and quick to hand out emergency chocolate biscuits when required. The food supplied was really tasty, so much tasty salmon. The only slight improvement I can think of is that catching the first bus was slightly confusing. But that is mostly just because the bus depot is barely managed chaos and not the fault of Icelandic Mountain Guides

Australia | 12 November 2015Incredible experience for my wife and I. Coming from Australia, it was a completely new experience to walk on a glacier. Our guide was hugely knowledgeable and communicated very well.

United States | 12 November 2015Our guide was very knowledgeable, fun, and a really cool guy. We cannot wait to return to Iceland and go on another tour! We learned a lot, and can't wait to go on a longer adventure next time. Hopefully it will be soon...

United States | 12 November 2015Our guide couldn't have been more accommodating for a variety of skill levels on our trip. Those with more strength and ambition were given the opportunity to climb more, while those of us with less strength had the opportunity to spend time on the glacier taking it all in (or pictures). We spent a lot of time on the glacier opposed to driving tons to get to the glacier for a 1.5hours. Guides were very knowledgeable of geology & also film history. When we return in a few years with our daughter (when she's old enough to climb), Icelandic Mountain Guides will definitely be our guides.

United States | 12 November 2015Jon, our tour guide made sure we learned all about points on our tour. Our stops were not too long, our soak at Fontana great and our meal woderful. We were teamed up with two fun couples too. Missed the northern lights, but an excuse to repeat

Canada | 12 November 2015I had such a fantastic time on the Svinafellsjökull glacier with Icelandic Mountain Guides - a truly out of this world experience. Our guide was amazing, the scenery was spectacular and I can't wait to return!

United Kingdom | 31 May 2015Both the guides and the office staff that I had contact with were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The tour we went on, the Glacier Walk with Northern Lights, was well planned, well led and very interesting and entertaining throughout. The weather conditions meant that seeing the Northern Lights was very unlikely, but our guide endeavoured to find a spot where we'd see them anyway. Unfortunately we didn't, but it really didn't detract that much from the quality of the day we had had.

United Kingdom | 26 May 2015Our experienced guide, Vidir, took us on a hike over the glacier at Skaftafell. The views were breathtaking. Thoroughly recommend!

United States | 16 May 2015We went on the Blue Ice Basic Experience and loved it! This is truly the only way to experience the glacier up close rather than just viewing it from down below. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained many new things that I never knew about glaciers....for example in the summer months the glaciers are a bit muddy because of landslides. I'd suggest if you want a more pristine ice experience to take a longer tour where you get to go farther into the glacier. The reservation process was great and we reserved ahead of time at home. When we got there the outfitters were wonderful and let my husband borrow boots and a hat since our luggage was very delayed from our flight...we couldn't thank them enough! You absolutely do not want to miss this tour, we loved it!

Germany | 23 April 2015A friend and I recently participated in the Glacier Walking & Northern Lights tour and I could not recommend it more highly. Sigg, our guide was perfect! He was knowledgeable, friendly and most accommodating. The glacier was breathtaking and well worth the trip as was the waterfall. The hiking was very easy and we were well equipped. Get out of the city and see the beautiful landscape in Iceland. This tour was a great combination and the timing was perfect. I count this as one of the coolest things I've done in a long time - add it to your bucket list.

Australia | 14 April 2015We hiked the glacier on March 7th, 2015. We were in a group of either 8 or 9 people and our tour guide was a gentleman with the nickname "K". You could tell that he LOVED his job, which is what made him such a great guide. He kept us safe (we looked over into crevasses), allowed us prime opportunities for photo taking, and ensured that everyone was ready and willing to hike quite far up the glacier. We all learned a lot about glaciers, their formation, and how they have been changing, and spent a good amount of time actually walking on the glacier (at least 2.5 hrs, maybe 3). I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Iceland!

France | 09 April 2015really great time with a really good guide, but at this time ( winter), wa had a lot of snow so it was less impressive... but a really good time, thanks

United States | 09 April 2015Hired a guide for the glacier walk, a 4x4 trip up Eyjafjallajökull, to see waterfalls and the black sand beaches. Incredible day and an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. It's not for couch potatoes, but I'd recommend this trip for anyone visiting Iceland.
