I was worried about my order for a couple days as it said my product was back ordered. However, I received a very quick response from the company when I asked about my order and received tracking info a couple days later. The product arrived from Italy a week later!

Rip off merchants with Andrew at the fore. I ordered two items, Dolce & Cabana SMEG toaster and kettle at £416.80 each. After weeks of 'not been received in the warehouse yet' I tried to cancel. Surprise surprise the toaster was suddenly available and was being shipped by DHL to Hong Kong (no worries about tax). The kettle was still not available and as I cancelled Andrew advised the closed the transaction and needed to contact my bank for a refund, PayPal. Contacted PayPal and when they asked Tattahome for a comment, were provided with the DHL shipment reference and delivery confirmation so no further action by PayPal. PayPal say I have to prove the item was not delivered rather than the seller proving it was sent. Andrew, of course refuses to confirm or deny the item was/was not sent and constantly refers me to the bank!!! Too late for claim from credit card so I have made a report to law enforcement and put the matter in the hands of my lawyer.

After emailing Andrew at customer support they have sorted my query very quickly. Happy customer, thank you

Had I known there was going to be such a delay in delivery with the importation taxes I would have purchased the item from the designer directly

I would never try to purchase anything from this site again. They (Andrew) kept me hanging for over a year repeatedly telling me they were "Mortified" (I don't believe they know the meaning of the word) with how long it was taking, but that they also had no idea when they would be able to fulfill my order because it was on "backorder" (for over a year??) and they also apparently had no way of contacting the manufacturer. (Doesn't make any sense) This turned out to be BS because I was able to contact the manufacturer and they didn't know anything about the piece I ordered being on backorder, and were able to provide me with it immediately. Tatahome also didn't respond to my refund request until I threatened to get legal. Terrible and totally untrustworthy seller. I would not be surprised at all if the 5 star reviews on this site were being made by Tatahome themselves.

I take it back from my previous review, have just received a huge bill from fedEx This was not explained when I purchased the item, will not use them again Thank you for your reply, but again if this had been made clear at point of ordering I would not have ordered from your company, as I could purchase this item cheaper in the UK now the VAT have been added.
