United Kingdom | 13 November 2024This company took over my loan in September. There was an issue with my dirct debit,which i had cancelled, due to me not recognising the direct debit. I rectified this issue. This month they have contacted me informing me i am again in arrears, even though i have rectified the direct debit with them and my bank. To top it all, i phoned them earlier and spent 45 minutes on hold,only to be cut off at 5pm, as that is their closing time. Surely if there are calls in the queue they should be answered? I then sent an email to their customer services department,which has since bounced as undeliverable. Unbelievable! Very disappointed. I never had these issues with the previous compay If I could give zero stars, I would

United Kingdom | 08 November 20242 years ago a took out a 0% loan for a new boiler with British Gas that was subsequently transferred to Tandem bank from the previous provider. Only having a small amount left to settle, I wanted to settle the loan early in order to have my credit file as clean as possible in preparation for a mortgage application. For three days in a row I have sat in the queue to speak with someone for over an hour before giving up. I am currently 2 hours into the queue and still call number 2 (having moved up from 10). I find this totally unacceptable, and this day and age I do not know who this can be the only channel of communication open to me for this purpose. I do not think they are meeting the FCAs Consumer Duty requirements and this organisation needs looking at for poor practices.

United Kingdom | 08 November 2024Top savings provider that is always the first to slash their interest rates only 2 hours after BOE meeting, while others leave for a few days or weeks. Now lower rates and still a hit or miss app, that sometimes plays up.

I have tried to cancel my application with a dealer used by tandem "auto zone barnsley" i cancelled my deal with them 3 weeks ago without even seeing the car. the dealer would not respond to me or send the money back to the finance lender. I contacted tandem for some help as i am well within my consumer rights to reject the vehicle. All the response i got from tandem was advising i need to get the funds back to them from the dealer. How i would do this when they are ignoring any of my emails. Had no help since the start and this is now starting to become a massive detriment to my mental health. a payment has tried to come out of my account and tandem are not helping. I have a few weeks left before i can take this to the ombudsman and i will make sure my experience is known to anyone looking to purchase through tandem or autozone uk.

United Kingdom | 06 November 2024The interest rates are not explained correctly and clearly when setting up a loan. Do not use this company they charge massive amounts of interest which is not explained. After paying £150 per month for 12 months we have paid off about £300 of the loan. We advised the company of our plan to pay back the loan early and they advised we would pay a small amount of interest per month for the period. Turns out it’s over £120 per month in interest alone.

At the initial opening of my account,a great interest rate was offered, however over time, I decided to leave to pursue a better interest rate. They were quick to send me my funds and close my account, which was brilliant. Thank you Tandem, maybe one day in the future, I'll be back again.
