United Kingdom | 12 February 2024Worked fine for ages, but then suddenly an issue with the app meant I couldnt access my funds. Rang up and an IT ticket was raised on a Friday. They dont work at the weekends (incl. Cust service) which is odd for a pure online bank. Monday still hadnt heard anything and the fix is nowhere in sight - so have decided to remove my funds and bank elsewhere.

United Kingdom | 11 February 2024Awful customer service. Paid off my secured loan early and They haven’t had the decency to confirm payment and closure of the loan. Really poor and wouldn’t recommend due to this total lack of service. The idiot replying said I haven’t stated the product , are they blind . As I say awful customer service !

United Kingdom | 09 February 202413/02/2024 - Just recvd an email from Sophie B***** W*** - Customer Relationship Manager at Tandem regarding my complaint about £400 admin fee and interest rates. Dear Lydia.......she writes My name is Sarah. So very happy TANDEM/OPLO take these complaint investigations serious and utilise their professional departments to investigate thoroughly individuals issues. Jesus wept????? Recvd a call from customer services regarding a loan. I wanted to pay up, settlement figure. They advised me Id been charged £400 admin for the loan....it was in the small print. I was also advise although id borrowed 15k at 25% interest rate (which originally had started at 6% interest) i had actually signed up to pay them £27k back. BUT i said to the lady - i called you a lot before taking this loan and checked, there were no penalties and i was 25% interest and if i paid early i wouldnt be penalised. Yes she said but your loan was 27k......no my loan was 15k. This company gave me a solid £12k on my loan. There is no such thing as my 25% interest (even though that interest rate is truly disgusting since they originally offered me 6% via compare the market). No apparently i signed for a solid £27k. Im shocked. I've paid the loan back in 18 months to find i owe nearly as much as the loan still. OPLO is owned by TANDEM - just called and checked so all these decent reviews are completely wrong. Maybe OPLO are trying to rebrand themselves because they are known to be a CON Company in the finance world. Check OPLO reviews before you go with these fraudsters. BEWARE lots hidden in the small print

United Kingdom | 07 February 2024The explanation for why the top up showing on my account is 4.9% instead of 5% until 6th March was put down to a glitch and a known issue. Customers should have emails to advise. Also the call cut odd at the end and I should have been called back.
