I recently order dover sole and salmon they arrived defrosted ,the dover sole when cooked one cured up and turned grey both were tough, We binned the salmon.

1st time I've used The Fish Society. Fish via courier could that work, I had my doubts but it did, excellent. Packaging excellent. Totally frozen, excellent. For all seafood lovers get your orders in, Highly recommended. The cook your own Paella Kit was fab' the ingredients spot on a really good quality, plus the cooking instructions provided easy to follow and pictures available to follow on the website if unsure. Also placed an ordered for shell fish at the same (Winkles) but they where not available during delivery. Although sad my items where not available but very impressed as the next day my bank account was credited for the amount of the missing items, no fuss no quibble didn't even have to contact them. Can't fault their customer care

Everything I have had from The Fish Society has been excellent and a great success with dinner guests. Delivery by and conversation with Richard is looked forward to, packaging is excellent, the food (lobster in various forms, shrimp, coquilles san Jacques) mouth-watering. I recommend The Fish Society highly to anyone.

The Fish Society has given us a chance to sample a wider variety of fish than many other sites, accepting that some of these have come a distance and hence frozen before transport to the Society. The food chain controls seem excellent, however, and for the variety the pricing is fair. The quality of what we have ordered to date has always been first rate, with speedy delivery and excellent packaging to preserve the contents.

Always lovely good quality fish and seafood. Delivery still frozen and we’ll packed. You pay a little more than in supermarkets however it is worth it for flavour and freshness.

Our fish was delicious, particularly the sushi grade salmon! It just melted in your mouth!

I found the website very easy to use and found it particularly helpful that previous customers' comments re each product were prominently displayed as this was the first time I had used the website or purchased fish online. Payment was straightforward and email communication re delivery etc were very good. The snails, prawns and scampi I purchased arrived on time and were very well packed. They were also super quality. Slightly more expensive than the average supermarket prices for what is ostensibly the same thing but the quality was vastly superior. Fresher and so tastier. I am a total covert to on-line fish buying and will be back !
