I will never order again. Delivery was awful ! they did not give me an reasonable delivery window (all other food delivery I use give 1-2 hour window). The fish society's email said anytime between 7;00-18;00 ! but said DPD will give me an hour window if I give them mobile number. I gave my mobile number, but DPD's app said delivery is anytime between 7:00 - 22:00 ! so, I had to cancel all appointments, and had to wait all day. I can see on the app that DPD Southall depo received it at 6;30am, but since then it took until 15:30 to get here. so I waited more than 8 hours, and the frozen fish were in the normal truck ( not freezer truck ) for well over 15 hours. ( it seems the package left Fish Society the previous night around 23:30). when I opened it, frozen fish were half defrost. this is totally unacceptable !

My fish order was 669971 and I have 2 complaints. The winkles were packed just right with the information on a flat part of the bag so I could read what it said clearly, and the same with the herrings, but the whelks had the info leaflet put on the bag and then the bag was vacuum packed, plus it had got slightly damp and a bit torn so it was extremely hard to read the info. Why didn't you put the info somewhere where it could be read easily and also moisture proof? Also, it doesn't say how long it takes to defrost the herrings, or the winkles, or the whelks. When I get sea food from a high street shop it says how to defrost and how long it takes and I know it says how to defrost the whelks but it doesn't say how long it takes. I'm used to having this info on the packaging and I like it that way as I can then plan when to defrost so it's defrosted for lunch or dinner or both.

Was struggling to get fresh roe anywhere and decided to try the internet. So glad I did it was so easy, great service and absolutely delicious. Extremely well protected in transit too. Thank you

I ordered the 12 pack of Icelandic Cod Liver and it was delivered very quickly. It is surprisingly nice... a lot better than a spoonful of cod liver oil! I definitely plan to re-order. Thank you.

Great quick service, rock lobster tails and mussels were good value. However be aware it all comes frozen, was expecting fresh with the dressed crab. But it didn't affect flavour or texture. Will order again

Last weekend both the dressed lobster and the coquilles St Jacques were a huge success, as always. Everything I have bought from The Fish Society has been wonderful, and I have been buying things regularly for a couple of years.

I ordered frozen Brown Crab Claws. The first packet that I opened were dried up when defrosted over night in the fridge, inedible. I have not yet opened a second packet. I have since had a full refund and apologies. Great service.

Superb quick service and items came in ice packs well packaged. The fish is really delicious and so fresh. I loved the smoked salmon pate and kippers.

My Halibut was absolutely beautiful and perhaps for this reason I shouldn't complain but I'm afraid I did find it very expensive. Over £100 for 4x 280grn portions. And, yes I did know beforehand.

placed my order but received an email saying there way a delay and my delivery "may" arrive the next day. Never arrived and still no further updates provided as to where my order is and it just says "sent" on the order tracker real let down. will not order from them again.

My second order from The fish society and an other great order, first it was some seaweed, the second cod liver oil, next probably some wild salmon, three major reason to shop here, the price, the quality and the outstanding service provided!...

Excellent delivery of smoked salmon misshapen pieces. Good value. Would have preferred thinner slices and more heavily smoked as weak taste. Philip Graham
