Switzerland | 19 January 2024Gebucht und bezahlt war eine 2 Stunden Tranferzeit. Etihad hat einfach den Flug gestrichen und die Tranferzeit auf 7 Stunden geändert. Noch dazu über Nacht. Keine Wiedergutmachung nicht mal einen simplen Lounge-Gutschein. Absolut nichts. Ethiad das erste und letzte Mal. Lieber etwas mehr zahlen und mit Swiss fliegen !!!

Australia | 19 January 2024Their "manage my booking" tool doesn't work. I had to call them to get information about a possible flight change, and they ended up CANCELLING my original flight, without my request - and not even informing me about this cancellation. Now after 3 days, and over 10$ in skype calls with a long wait, they said they will only answer me in 28 working days, and I might have to pay extra to keep my flight. I just need to keep the booking I originally purchased and never allowed it to be cancelled - not rocket science. Horrible customer service.

United Kingdom | 18 January 2024Don't Fly Etihad! Booked 10:30 am flight Doha to Abu Dhabi via large online agency. Etihad cancelled flight and automatically booked me onto another at 4:20 in the morning. 4:20 in the morning! I would NEVER book myself onto a flight at 4:20 in the morning but they refused a refund -- told me to cancel via agency but refused to reply to the agency. Don't fly Etihad!!

United Kingdom | 18 January 2024They are advertising a free stopover in Abu Dhabi for up to two nights if you book a connecting flight. However, when you select this, flights become more expensive. It is also not clear that the flights are free as you have to go on another website and select one and the list shows up as 100-150USD (after speaking to Etihad, they told me it reverts to 0 at 'checkout' but several customers do not know this and are confused. However, even when several hotels show for your selected dates, they then show as sold out when you select them (but are available on other websites - Etihad is only allowed a few rooms per day). It actually works out cheaper to book these hotels yourself and the flights separately rendering the promotion a bit pointless. I did get through to someone online and they did process a refund, however, and I booked my accommodation and flight separately for cheaper.

United States | 17 January 2024I have travelled to India from Chicago. While booking I mentioned that I am American advantage member and will I get mileage reward the airline told me yes. I booked the tickets and after finished my journey I contacted them after 12 days. I got following surprised. 1). Mileage will deposited after 45 days - Ok but not told while booking. 2). Only one person whose mileage account number will get mileage points other will not even my booking under one Reference and myself with my advantage number. Be aware when you do partner airline booking till you will not inquire they will not give anything. Only advertise will not work understanding is different …..understand so called Milage redemption

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I experienced during my recent flight from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi on January 8, 2024. As a passenger in the economy class, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted the overall quality of my journey. Firstly, my TV screens in my seating area were not functioning. Despite bringing this to the attention of the cabin crew, the problem was not addressed throughout the entirety of my 7-hour flight, despite assurances that an engineer would arrive within 15 minutes. Additionally, I was dismayed by the handling of my request for alcohol during the meal service. Initially denied and assured it would be provided later, I was eventually served a full glass of vodka in a tea cup after the meal. Such a lack of professionalism and disregard for customer requests is unexpected, especially considering the premium amount I paid for the ticket. Same situation obsessed with my co-travellers. Furthermore, the overall attitude of the staff was disappointing. Not only were they unresponsive to service requests, but I also observed a lack of friendliness and noticed instances where busser bells went unanswered. As a loyal customer who had already booked a return ticket, I am disheartened to say that this experience has led me to reconsider my choice of airline for future travel. I believe it is essential for Etihad to address these issues promptly to maintain the high standards expected from a world-class airline.

Switzerland | 12 January 2024Grundsätzlich war der Hinflug okay, nichts besonderes. Das Essen jedoch war eher unterirdisch. Unser Rückflug eine Katastrophe, 3h im Flugzeug auf dem Rollfeld gefangen weil der Flieger ein technisches Problem hatte, am nächsten Abend 22 Uhr flogen wir retour von Tokio über Abu Dhabi - Paris um in Zürich anzukommen. (36h delay) Als Wiedergutmachung wurde uns ein lächerlicher 400 Dollar Gutschein angedreht der innerhalb von 12 Monaten verfällt. -> EU Recht greift bei dieser nicht also bucht lieber wo anders. Bei einer EU Airline hätte man 1200 Euro erhalten also rechnet selbst.

South Africa | 10 January 2024Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Agents not interested in helping. Payment methods don't work, and they insist the problem is your side, despite having contacted the bank to ensure it is not. Don't waste your time, find an airline that wants to help you.

United States | 10 January 2024No idea how this is considered one of the best and most luxurious airlines in the world. Service before the flight is terrible and mediorce on the flight. Chose almost any other airway to get better Service options. Lounge was terrible, checkin took way too long despite not having a line. Movie selections are few and not great (even for a 13 hr flight). I've been on worse (China Southern and Malaysian) but choose any name brand for about the same cost and better everything. On a plus note, their food is really good but that's the only positive thing. Coincidentally, I had two legs to my flight and wanted to try out Emirates...night and day difference! Emirates actually earns their best in the world reputation.

United Kingdom | 08 January 2024Travelled with Etihad flight EY601 from Johannesburg to Abu Dhabi with family on 05/01/2024. I must say the flight was good and hats off to the flight attendants that were there to assist us. Our section was served by Flight Attendants Ashleigh Marigano and Rim Zouaoui. Words can’t describe how these ladies worked hard together and went out of their way to make the flight memorable and a good experience. These ladies were very good and did everything to help all their passengers where possible. Though of course they were faced with some very demanding passengers they kept their cool, were respectful and still served with a smile. Can’t same the same for their colleagues on the flight from Abu Dhabi to Manchester.Massive massive difference.

France | 07 January 2024ACTUAL SCAMMERS! Booked a roundtrip flight 4 months ahead from Jakarta to Paris for my family with Etihad. And they booked us in a lowcost WAMOS AIR flight, which was a different aircraft, with way lower standard, and extremely poor service. No wifi, no plug to charge phones, even the old school screen for entertainment was broken so I spent 8h staring at the chair in front of me. When I asked for a compensation in any form, I was met with condescending laughter because they sent me an email to tell me it would be this way 3 days before the flight. For my way back I asked to cancel and book with another airline, and they asked me to pay a fee of 50% of the ticket price. Will never fly again with them unless my life depends on it.

United Kingdom | 07 January 2024I'm a frequent flyer but these people are terrible. Of 4 separate legs of my journey, every one was delayed. The food was awful, to get alcoholic drinks I had to go myself to the kitchen area because they wouldn't serve me. The air conditioning was so cold every single person aboard had coats and blankets over themselves. I will never fly with them again.

The experience left a lasting impression, and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. The issues began at the check-in counter, where I was met with a dismissive and unhelpful attitude from the staff. Despite my polite inquiries and attempts to clarify certain aspects of my booking, I was met with impatience and were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. When I arrived in my final destination some of my luggages were missing considering we paid an extra 4700dhs for this. I will not recommend this airline!

Singapore | 05 January 2024Low-cost policies and staff treatment at international airlines. So I booked four return tickets from Singapore to Spain which was a few thousands of dollars. Two adults and two kids. Upon getting the tickets at the airport in Spain, we realized they gave me separate seats from my kids, they didn't even mentioned to me at first. When I realized and came back I was told that's because I didn't pay extra to have the four seats together. I told them it was the first time any airline separated two adult seats from kids. They apologized but they said they couldnt put them together for free Unless I paid $20 per seat. We did pay of course but let me tell you, this will be their more expensive extra $80 they will ever get, because they lost a regular flyer with a whole family. Staff wise...well, lots and lots of attitude like scolding you for seating on your child seat instead of yours so the child meal doesn't "match" the seat. And they want to be a top airline?
