Good baggage policy and okay pricing. We had long haul flights from UK to Australia. The trip to Aby Dhabi on the A380 aircraft was good, but the long flight to/from Sydney on the Boeing Skyliner was too cramped and uncomfortable for 17 hours, plus the entertainment was very basic with little film and music choice plus any live TV and WiFi wasn’t available plus the food and drink was basic.

I flew with a partner airline last year and they never updated my miles balance. It's been almost a year and I've sent over more than 10 emails. Scandalous.

Pour avoir un bagage en soute il faut payer le prix d'un supplément, soit 800€ pour 1 bagage de 20kg !! et aucune information sur le site ! Mais l’agence de voyage n’est pas claire non plus

This is the first time I was traveling by Etihad and was excited Flight was from Abu Dhabi to Trivandrum and had made early bookings , online checking and seat selection all in advance . But I was offloaded from a flight due to an error of the airlines for no fault of mine . This was a very important booking for me to meet someone and return the same day The team and the team leader Mr. Osama are completely clueless as to what was wrong and with all his antics could not resolve the issue . Who is going to pay for all the charges ? I need full refund of my to and fro flight ticket as the mistake is of the airlines . I was well before time , had all my clearance and waiting for my flight. While boarding I am told that I am offloaded. Imagine yourself leaving house 6 hours early to ensure to reach a flight to a airport that is 2 hrs away from home This is the most pathetic service I received here. Never flying from Etihad and I would neither recommend anyone to fly . Will be posting a review soon on Google with more details Regards Bjorn Joseph

In February last year, I asked at the Ethiad office in Manila to extend and rebook my return trip later from Manila to Brussels. It cost $220 they said. I agreed, then was told that I had to pay for the ticket as well which both me and my wife heard. I then think that the ticket was not paid because it was determined to be taken on invoice. I then paid at the office the entire trip through my visa directly to Ethiad for a total of 11,800 Swedish kronor, approx. 1,500 dollars. When I got home to Sweden, the travel agency requested payment for the ticket again at SEK 11,100. Now in february 2024 it has turned out that Ethiad lied to me and my wife. They charged 11,800 SvK in rebooking price for a one-way trip back to Sweden. This was therefore more expensive than what the entire ticket cost round trip from Sweden via Brussels. So Ethiad has therefore charged me twice + that they were able to sell the flight seat that became free that I canceled in order to be able to travel later. Everyone should be warned about Ethiad Air, they will rip the shirt off you if they can. It is terrible that they can exploit their customers so cynically. Never fly with Ethiad Air as a warning. If Ethiad have any honesty they fix this in some way and refunds.... 3048905 / SFCNWG

I booked flights to the Maldives and they changed the departure time back from Male to Abu Dhabi so it was too early in the morning to connect with the sea plane. They wouldn’t offer the evening flight on the same day despite it showing as available to book on the website. When I queried this they said the flight was overbooked. Yet they would have people booking and presumably not able to board which is completely irresponsible. The third agent then said it was not a refundable ticket despite the previous ones stating that it was so I had to argue about this. The hotel, interestingly enough said they constantly change their schedule. I had also cancelled flights with them 2 years ago due to constant changes to their schedule with the layover time becoming ridiculous. Would not recommend- not worth the stress. Call centre is variable but often they don’t seem to understand you so you have to call back

The first leg of my flight got cancelled, the offered flight was a mismatch to the connecting flights. I had booked the ticket with travelstar. Etihad had partnered with Vistara. I spent many hours on the phone and in chats: Etihad told me to contact the travel agency, the travel agency told me to call Etihad. Neither one was responsible. In the end, I had to buy a new ticket. Etihad is working with questionable travel agencies and does not take over responsibility for its customers and the tickets issued.

horrible service. I booked a flight to Ontario and finally stated they refused me by saying they did not have space on the flight. I had to wait 2 days at the Abu Dhabi airport. I was lost and could not attend to University enrolment worst airline to travel

I flew with this company from Bangkok to Stockholm and everything was fine until I arrived in Sweden, my luggage did not arrive and after 2 days it arrived all destroyed, I made a complaint about this to the company but they did not even respond to this. It's been more than a month and nothing. Honestly, this company is skipping legal treaties such as the Montreal Convention and does not respond to its passengers nor is it responsible for their belongings... they think they are very wealthy but it seems that is not the case...

Quelle déception pour un vol Sydney Abu Dhabi. Personnel désagréable, avion sale, écran tactile qui fonctionnait une fois sur 2 . Bref,une des pires compagnies que j'ai empruntées.

Flug Wien-Phuket über Abu Dhabi und wieder retour. Nicht mit sehr hohen Erwartungen den Flug angetreten und waren von beiden Flügen in der Economy-Class angenehm überrascht. Die Flugbegleiterinnen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die angebotenen Speisen waren überraschenderweise gut gewürzt, Getränke gab es mehrmals (alkoholisch sowie alkoholfrei). Gebucht wurde Etihad hauptsächlich wegen der kurzen Transferzeiten im neuen Flughafen von Abu Dhabi. 2 1/2 bzw. 3 1/2 Stunden bei Hin- und Rückflug, gebenüber 5 bzw. 6 Stunden anderer Airlines. Woher die vielen Negativmeldungen kommen ist uns unklar.

I called them to change the flight date, they gave me price for $524 something, when I called back in 20 minutes the price went up to $994 with an excuse that prices changes every time. Mind it this is airline not the stock exchange. These are tactics to loot nothing else. They are generally overprices comparing their planes and services. Etihad will charge you for everything like selecting seat no matter if you choose the similar seat in different row.

Wir haben im September, also 5 Monate im Voraus unseren Flug von Manila über Abu Dhabi nach München gebucht. 10 Stunden vor Abflug bekam ich eine Email, dass unser 2. Flug nach München umgebucht wurde, da kein Platz mehr im Flieger ist!! Der Flug hatte einen zusätzlichen Zwischenstopp in Düsseldorf und war dadurch natürlich auch 5 Stunden später in München. Obwohl wir Sitzplätze gebucht haben und eine Woche zuvor eine Email erhalten haben, mit dem Angebot für mehr Komfort einen extra Sitzplatz buchen zu können!! (Mit Versteigerungssystem) Offensichtlich hat die Airline unsere Sitzplätze an einen anderen mehr zahlenden Kunden verkauft und uns kurzerhand einen schlechteren und billigeren Flug gegeben. Trotz mehrmaliger Kontaktaufnahme zur Airline, gaben die uns nur zur Auskunft, dass sie nichts dagegen tun könnten. Der Flug ist nicht storniert worden, da es immer noch die Möglichkeit gab Businessclass zu buchen. Wenn die Airline ihren Fehler ehrlich zugegeben hätte, hätte sie uns einfach Plätze in der Business class gegeben. Aber nein. Nie mehr mit Etihad, das ist klar!!!!

My wife and I flew Business Class to India from LHR. Service was excellent. Seats were amazing, HOWEVER - they lost my wifes' Summer hat as they moved it from the overhead locker without telling us. When we exited the flight, the hat was not where we left it and so we did not notice it was missing until we had left the airport. Contacted their customer service as Delhi Airport and on the plane home from India and was told it would be dealt with. Over 2 months on, I have an email telling me they are dealing with it, but clearly they are not as it has gone quiet. Seems they don't know how to deal with customer complaints. I doubt I will be using them again which is a shame as the flights were good and cabin crew excellent.

The worst airline ever flew on and I flew on every airline. From the start to finish. I required assistance I couldn’t book through manage my booking. Then I was threatened to check in my cabin baggage else they would weigh it and charge me. Then I got food poisoning on the flight 100% it was a morning flight and it was the only thing I ate. Then I email them to notify them of my experience and 72 hours later no reply and I have food poisoning!

I recently traveled from London to Pakistan with Etihad Airlines, seated in 15K, and was left extremely dissatisfied and discomforted by my experience. Despite the premium for my seat, which featured extra leg space, the constant interruptions from the cabin crew significantly marred my journey. Throughout the flight, I was asked to shrink my legs at least 15 times to allow the crew to pass, despite the ample space supposedly afforded by my seating choice. The necessity to constantly adjust my position, especially when trying to rest or sleep, was not only disruptive but also contradicted the comfort promised by the seating arrangement. I was particularly looking forward to a restful flight due to pre-existing exhaustion, but the frequent requests made it impossible to relax or find any semblance of peace. Such experiences cast a shadow over the reputation of Etihad Airlines as a carrier that values passenger comfort and service quality. It is disheartening to see the basic needs of passengers overlooked, and the situation handled with what seemed like a disregard for passenger comfort.

I experienced unfair treatment during my flight from Bangkok to Abu Dhabi (final destination JFK). Initially, the seat in front of me was supposed to be unoccupied, but a fellow passenger decided to move to that seat and recline it to the maximum extent, encroaching on my space. Subsequently, she confronted me, alleging that I had disrupted her and reported this to a flight attendant while food was being served. Shockingly, the flight attendant publicly blamed me for shifting in my seat and insinuated that I was the instigator of the conflict. She exhibited no empathy, offered no assistance or support, immediately took the other passenger's side and kept interrupting me when I spoke. I am 5'6'' in height, making it virtually impossible not to make contact with the seat in front of me, especially when it's already reclined to its furthest position. To add to the ordeal, the flight attendant failed to provide me with a beverage like other passengers after delivering my food. Once I finished eating, the passenger in front decided to recline her seat yet again, prompting me to request a seat change. When I asked another flight attendant if I could move to the vacant seat between the passenger in front and her male companion, they both refused and falsely claimed the seat was already occupied. Consequently, I had no choice but to relocate to a different seat.

Never ever fly with this airline! They are a fraud! Etihad customer service are absolutely useless and very rude! You can't even make seat bookings until you check in into the airport! The customer service staff are very rude and unhelpful! Very disappointed customer
