Engineer polite and efficient. Communication between myself and the company was good. A pity that engineers are not allowed to carry supplies - this would have saved a second visit.

A good diagnosis and repair but the 3- 5 day estimate became almost 3 weeks. It would have been helpful if I had been contacted when the problem arose

I thought I had a leak coming from my Hotpoint Freezer and the engineer visited the day following my initial contact. After a thorough investigation it turned out the problem wasn’t with the freezer. Very impressed with their service and the cost.

Stuart came out early and was very helpful in explaining the problem and able to fix it.

Prompt friendly and excellent service. Went above and beyond. Kept to agreed 530pm appointment slot in spite of it being 40oC - many firms would have cried off. Great job. Will use again if ever needed

The fitter that installed our pump was excellent, why I only gave your company 3 stars was that your 1st fitter came on the 15th on June it was over a month since his visit that the pump was installed, I know that you had said that the 1st pump was delivered damaged, I had an email from you that the new pump would be to your fitter but he was going away for a few days. I was not amused with this when I got in touch with you you stated that all parts are delivered to the fitters home. That is why I only gave your company 3 stars, but again I can’t praise the fitter enough the installed the pump.

Problem not solved but engineer tried his best

My Neff oven stopped getting hot, phoned this Company on Thursday pm. An engineer was here Friday mid-fay. I was informed when he was on his way, he was in uniform, covid secure, polite, efficient and friendly. Identified the problem and replaced faulty part. Excellent service

I was kept abreast of everything and Charlie, the engineer rang me when he was ten minutes from my home which was much appreciated. He identifued the problem immediately and ordered the part explains he would return once he had it. Charlie was polite, friendly and helpful.

The repair guy was very nice, and seemed highly competent. However, parts were needed, which they were willing to order. But they marked them up from £260 to £430 -- a 65% markeup!!!! I offered to order the parts myself, but then they wouldn't install them. They said it's because "they couldn't gaurantee the parts were correct". Code for: "we reserve the right to rip you off". Not going back. Capital's reply? "no retailer buys and sells the part for the same price and the parts". True, but a £170 markup on £260 pounds isn't a markeup -- it's a ripoff. And the worst part is they didn't tell me it was marked up: all I got was a quote for £430. I would have written a much nicer review if it had been itemized: £260 for parts and £170 for profit and a gaurantee (which isn't even all that great). I bought and installed the parts myself. Took 30 minutes, and it's still working!
