When my ageing washing machine (eight and a half years) decided to flood my kitchen I had visions of having to buy a brand new one, not an expense to look forward to. However, I found a repair firm (Capital Repairs) which came out the next day. The engineer (Stuart) quickly found the problem and repaired the machine ensuring (hopefully) many more years of use. Don't be fooled into thinking the name means this company only operates in the London area. They have engineers based in many parts of the South East (in my case Berkshire) I will certainly use them again. They also repair other kitchen appliances.

A very courteous engineer turned up, and he was able to do a repair straight away. Very pleased with the service! I was amazed that the appointment could be made on a Sunday too.

The service engineer was kind, courteous and very quick. He explained in detail what had gone wrong and had our cooker up and running again quickely

Your engineer arrived promptly he was very polite he got on with the work the needed to be done and cleaned up afterwards.

Our very old tumble dryer broke down. I discussed the problem in detail with the firm, noting the relevant serial number and ID code for the machine, and the parts that would most likely be needed for the repair. The man at the firm was optimistic that a repair could be carried out so I booked an engineer's visit, for their standard non-refundable, charge of £96. The engineer confirmed which parts were needed but subsequently, after the firm tried to obtain the parts, they came back to me saying that they could not obtain them anywhere because they were obsolete. My problem with this, and my complaint against the firm, is that they could have, and should have, worked this out before talking optimistically and leading me to book a very expensive, and totally useless, engineer's visit.

Stuart was excellent, quick, thorough and professional throughout. Unfortunately, we had to wait for a spare to come in, but he fitted it quicly and well on receipt.

Excellent service. Wish we had found this company years ago. Our fridge/freezer was fixed and great advice given. The engineer came within 2 days of contacting them. I can't rate their staff highly enough. Great service and easy to contact by phone. No long wait, you get straight through.

My first time using this company. Definitely not my last . The lady who answered my call was polite professional. Explaining the call out cost . Even rang me the following day apologised to me that engineer was running late. When engineer turned up he was polite professional and explained what was needed and cost . Did not feel pressured into buying the parts from him . I did and price was reasonable. Will definitely use them again . Would recommend them.

From start to finish they was great as they fixed my cooker and turned up on time. So the big questions are would I use them again? That is a yes and second one is would I recommend them ? That is a bit yes Thanks

The leak from our dishwasher was found and repaired quickly by Gabriel, who came out on a Bank Holiday! Outstanding service.

Very happy with the service I received from Capital Repairs. Charlie came out to look at my Neff oven that had stopped working. He discovered after checking the oven that the fan heating element had stopped working. He ordered a new part and came back 10 days later to fit the part for me. Very good communication from this company. Text messages to say when the engineer was on his way and telephone calls from Charlie also to confirm he was on route. Would not hesitate to recommend

The worst service I have had in a long time. They are very keen to take money but not to refund when they do not send parts which had been ordered and paid for. They repeatedly refused to refund. I contacted my bank who looked at the details and without hesitation authorised a chargeback.
