Really unfortunately we have had the most dreadful experience with Capital Repairs. From an extremely arrogant and rude technician who belittled us in our own home, to long wait times, to breathtaking incompetence in diagnosing the problem with our machines, to finally a complete refusal to provide us with any refund despite acknowledging their ineptitude. What is really upsetting is the people you speak to on the phone at CR are all lovely and lead you into a false sense of security that the job will be done, and done well. They are untrustworthy and we would not recommend this company. When we first contacted Capital Repairs, we were given an appointment slot the following day. We had explained the problems with both our dishwasher and washing machine and were assured that CR technicians were excellent. On arrival, the technician informed us ahead of examining the washing machine that he could not fix it but proceeded to look at it anyway, for which we were then charged. We accepted this at the time as one of those things, not knowing what was ahead go us. The dishwasher issue was diagnosed and a part ordered. We paid for both services there and then, as is CR's policy. When the dishwasher part arrived we were told that we would have to wait a week for the part to be fitted. We told CR that this was not acceptable as before they had secured the work with us they were able to fit us in the next day but as soon as we had paid, we were no longer a priority. When the technician arrived, he was arrogant and rude. Too many examples to note here, but all of which we have relayed to CR. The technician found another fault - pretty major - with the dishwasher after installing the new part, which should have been diagnosed on the first viewing, and were informed we would have to wait another week for the part to arrive. The most upsetting part of the interaction was after my partner had told me the technician could not fix the dishwasher, I asked the technician if he could explain the problem, to which he replied: why should I have to explain it twice? After this final interaction we called CR immediately, with the technician still in our kitchen, to try to resolve the issue. The technician then left taking the first replacement part with him so our dishwasher was still out of use. Was this all complete incompetence or just laziness? CR has accepted responsibility for this, and we have said that we do not want another technician in our home to try to yet again repair the dishwasher, only to find another fault or to be rude to us. However despite communicating to CR how distressing this has been, they refused to provide even a partial refund. It has been an extremely upsetting experience - both interacting with the company and having with no dishwasher and three children under the age of 5 or the best part of a month due to CR's incompetence to both diagnose and fix the problem. We would strongly advise against using this company.

Very polite kept me informed of what the problems were and told me when he had sorted them.and advised on thing to do to kept working effectively. His name was Stuart and I definitely would recommend him. Thank-you

On arrival, I explained the problem to the engineer, which was drainage. He immediately set the machine and went through two or three settings. He also checked the back of the machine for any kinks in the tubes. In conclusion he said I was not loading the machine sufficiently with laundry hence the computerised balance was unable to spin properly and expel the water.,

I was very impressed by the service you supplied. The call out fee covered the return visit to complete the job, which was good. I ordered parts for an expensive oven and door repairs and the prices were good honest prices. The appointments were accomodating and the job is now done and done well. I would recommend this company, I was happy with everything. Honest people!!

The engineer arrived on time and quickly identified the washing machine problem - the heating element was faulty. He replaced the faulty part (he had one in his van), checked that it worked, and tidied up before he left.

The repairman you sent, was both knowledgeable and efficient, he discovered the fault, pointed out how it had happened and then repair it with no fuss or mess, I did not get the gentleman's name but he is a credit to your company. Thankfully yours Mr G.Eccles High Wycombe

The engineer who mended our oven was friendly,efficient and speedy. Left no mess and was pleasant to have in our home. Didn't make a note of his name but definitely praiseworthy.

The repair engineer was very professional and friendly, No fuss, get on with the work completed in very short time scale less interruption to our daily routine and work was done to our satisfaction. Excellent!

I give Capital repairs a 5 star rating because their service was fast, efficient and my fridge freezer was repaired on the same day. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

The engineer arrived as agreed, but did not adequately resolve the problem. I know that when you remove the water filter from the fridge to replace it, the water flow should automatically cut off.This is the part that required replacement. He was adament this was not the case. His solution was to switch off all the cold water in the house to replace the filter. 90.00 odd pounds for really nothing.

The repairman came at the designated date and time and called me an hour before to let me know the exact timings. He quickly identified and fixed the issue with my oven, explained everything he was doing while doing it, and gave me some good advice. Very happy with the service.

Engineer looked at the cooler and knew straight away what was faulty. this item was replaced and the cooler is working again.

Marcel was 10/10! He came over to repair my central gas burner on my hob, but in the process, repaired other problems with the hob and gave me some handy tips for my other appliances! Called beforehand to tell me when he would arrive, was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 service and would recommend!
