Australia | 29 August 2024Rena was fantastic, she assisted me with my pre-existing medical conditions I was unsure of; she even spoke to the nurse for me then proceeded to re-do a new policy for me adding one pre-existing medical condition. We then cancelled my previous policy and was informed that the refund would take 5-10 business days but to my amazement the refund entered into my bank account straight away, so I wasn't out of pocket. What a legend thanks so much for your patience and advice Rena. And to Freely, if this is your practice how you want your clients treated then bloody well done. I wish you covered for TPD. I spoke to Maricon about the issue and she was able to confirm policy is active and how to look it up on the app. She was such a lovely lady

Australia | 13 August 2024I did a quick online quote for a short trip to USA (Hawaii) and was surprised with the low premium of $215 compared to other insurers. I noted they offered automatic cover for certain common, pre existing medical conditions such as high cholesterol (which I'm sure is a large percentage of the population). I take daily medication for this and my levels are normal, however when doing the online quote and listing this condition, the premium jumped by another $200 (almost 100%). I have tried to clarify if this is correct via email but found it very difficult to get a straight answer. I recently travelled to the USA and Canada with a competitors insurance and wasn't asked for an additional premium, so whilst the quotes initially appear to be competitive, be wary of the pre existing conditions bumping it up..

Australia | 06 July 2024First time using travel insurance and freely sucks. 1. I purchased the general insurance with gadget cover as a boost. 2. I got injured while riding in a bike and stated them that right away. 3. I asked them several time will this be covered and they said “might be”, “ Depends on the claims team” such things. The customer care team never gave a straight forward answer and one guy said you may change the flight as per doc’s advise. 4. After coming back to Australia, few days they rejected the claim saying bike riding is not covered which they never mentioned when i call them multiple time. 5. You have to read a 100+ pages book very carefully before purchasing this. Hence if you buy every boost and the scenario what happened to you isn’t covered, you will get $0 even you buy every boost. So please think hundred times before purchasing this. Don’t waste your hard earned money.

Was a very stressful time but I thought it would all be ok because I paid for insurance plus all extras but was actually a waste of my money as I would be in the same position without it. Very disappointing and will not be using this company again.
