United States | 20 October 2023Overall my experience has been good although I can say I am disappointed my loan was not funded before the scheduled delivery date of my camper. I started my loan process very early and regularly made my scheduled delivery date known. I even assisted in obtaining some photos needed for the loan documents in hopes to move the process along a little faster and meet the delivery date. Unfortunately, once all the loan documents were returned to you, it appears an additional delay occurred at First Internet when they didn’t call me as it was explained to me they would. I ended up reaching out to them and was told the phone call to me was delayed due to short staffing. It appears this delay ultimately led to missing the delivery date. At the end of the day, the loan wasn’t funded in time and I’ve had to reschedule the delivery along with cancelling a planned trip. Not the end of the world but disappointing nonetheless….

But when Kailey took over, she was PHENOMENAL & answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. She got my loan finalized quickly. I’m definitely thankful and will use SE Financial again, if I can have Kailey as my loan officer again!

United States | 29 September 2023I read all of the reviews and researched this company prior to applying. To be honest, I was impressed by the website and their promise to look at case by case basis. It states on the site that “Your not just a number”. That was a total lie. My situation is that my credit was destroyed while I was overseas, prompting divorce upon returning from another combat deployment with the Army. I lost everything that I had work for, house, cars, money, credit and my dignity. Divorce was final in 2015. Since then I have been trying very hard to rebuild my credit. My fico says 753. Of course individual reporting agencies are lower. Equifax 710, TransUnion 661. I do realize that those numbers can be different to a banking institution as it is not a home or an auto. I applied for a boat loan. My income is retired. I make an annual $71925.48 per year from VA, Army and Social Security. My numbers will never go down. I moved in with my mother to help take care of my dad (just passed) that could not get around. Since I do not have my name on this house, I don’t really have a recent history of a large loan amount. This house is just shy of paid for and valued at almost $500k. This is their reason for my decline. What they don’t know is that I have been professionally fishing for the last two years, including the Bass Master Series. This boat loan was going to allow me to switch from Kayaks to Boat. Since I have a disability, it won’t hurt my body to fish anymore. Well, I never got an opportunity to let them know anything. After my application was submitted, I was grateful that an email came in asking for the MSRP and a bill of sale for what I am applying. No phone call to let me know that I had an email. As I had just secured the info they wanted and on the same business day, I get a declined email. Not once did I get contacted by them other than those emails. My sponsors mean everything to me when I fish. I advertise for them and in return I am given discounts or paid tournament fees. Sometimes lodging is paid for. That means that I have had a relationship with a person that knows me and my story. This company promoted an opportunity for me online. However I was the opposite of what they claimed. I was just another number. Hopefully they will attempt contact and maybe resolve my disappointment and I will gladly make an amendment to this review. I don’t ever give my info out like this but for someone looking to make a purchase, I hope this can be helpful.

I was worried about scams buying from private party, (yeah its a thing) and put those fears to rest by running checks. Even though she was busy with lots of clients, she always made sure she answered my questions. I couldn't be happier.
