The initial online application and paperwork upload process was easy to use and guided me quickly through all the necessary steps. Then I got a chance to work with lots of people at Southeast Financial, because it's summertime and people go on vacation and purchasing a boat takes a long time. Everyone I met was very friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to my questions when I sent an email or called. Extremely friend staff and great, responsive service! They made sure I had a thorough understanding of what was expected at every step of the process, and were super helpful at responding to the plethora of questions that I had along the way. They even went to so far as to call me with explanations rather than just emailing me, which is rare in today's world. In fact, their service was so great, the seller I was purchasing from asked for their information as he wants to use SE Financial for his next purchase.

First off the reps I spoke with were very kind and helpful, with that being said, the whole loan process was likened to lemon on a open wound. Took 2 weeks of back and forth with pictures and double takes just to have do overs that were supposed to be caught the first time hence that’s why those processes are there. Then to top it off the bank sent cashiers checks instead of direct deposits so we had to wait 5-7 more days to pick up our camper. So a total of almost a month just to get a loan. I have great credit and this is by far the first time this has ever happened in a loan process
