Today while at the garden section I was directed to info by a member off staff to support with with an inquiry. When arriving there was three staff members standing there snacking on biscuits and chatting. I was clearly visible to them all but no one spoke to me, when I said excuse me ( loud enough to be heard) to hopefully gain their attention one took another biscuit and walked off and the other two turned around and continued their personal chat. This made me feel totally uncomfortable and ignored. There is clearly no customer service at the information help desk in the garden section. I was eventually helped from another staff member whom kindly took a few seconds of their time to answer my question.

My heart shaped wreath is beautiful I got it cheap but I got one for my daughter in kent and one for my friend in hull £6 dearer each but I am glad I did not get them as I felt really disappointed with them

Called in the store today we thought we would try a coffee big mistake Both coffees very cool My wifes latte looked like a cup of milk Mine was the weakest coffee i have tasted in a long time Also its the dearest Proper rubbish waste of time complaining there not interested

This was my very first visit to bent’s today and I must say I really was not impressed…. Not just that you have to have won the lottery or such, to be able to afford things in there!! But I was embarrassed to see the cleanliness and shoddy displays, there was thick dust on some objects, obviously suggesting that they haven’t been touched, there was even an empty shelf with a fully formed cobweb with nest eggs!!! Some of the displays themselves were not in uniform lines or labels front facing, to please the eye of the buyer, there were huge gaps on shelves and general untidiness. I’m sorry nothing really wowed me in there, or excited my imagination that a particular item would look good in my home, don’t get me wrong with the right displays to intrigue the customers imagination there are a lot of really nice items that earn the respect for a decent display. I wish I could have a night in lockdown to re-arrange things and a bloody good dusting, just to see if it would improve sales.

The big shortcoming is the unavailability of e.vouchers OR an on-site collection service for gift- vouchers. Instead only the much slower and more expensive Royal Mail delivery is available at either £1.85 - or over £2 for first- class - with the recipient generally having to wait up to 4/5days ( and st least 2/3 in my experience.) from the date of ordering. Whenever possible I now gift via alternative.businesses who offer immediate or next-day digital delivery of vouchers or hold them for collection by the gifted customer on their next visit. Hokey Dokey. .

My husband and myself went to Bents today for “afternoon tea. “ Thoroughly enjoyed it , selection of sandwiches and cakes was lovely. Staff couldn’t do enough.(with special thanks to Lizzie) What a treat.

I ordered 3 light up wreaths, arrived in a huge box far bigger than was required, when I opened it all 3 were damaged as they had just been stacked on top of one another and then box filled with paper. Nothing wrapped around each one and there was so much room in the box they would be sliding all over. I contacted Bents and advised them if this and I said I had pictures which I provided, they only sent a replacement for 1, the one that had the most damage. So not very impressed with the service from a company like this.
