United States | 22 August 2018I have been with hair club for over two years now and have had nothing problems. The "units" have not fit right, the front doesn't adhere in the front, the hair mats up and falls out so much that it's embarrassing! The office manager, who is no longer there, would constantly question/ imply that I was intentionally damaging the hair to get free services or would say that i wouldn't have those problems if i would upgrade my membership. So, because I didn't go with the one of the more expensive levels of membership, i get the crappy hair. I have purchased every product that they suggest in an effort to "fix" the hair from both product lines! I began with the Maxxam line and was told after I spent hundreds of dollars over a few months to stop using it and switch to the Trima product line. Now I have to change the type of hair i chose and hope it works better. I have yet to experience any real freedom since I am constantly concerned about it looking like a birds nest or cleaning up hair everywhere i go. The only reason i give two stars is because my stylist is great. She does all that she can, within the constraints placed on her, to improve the condition of and get suggestions about the hair. I give her 5 stars!! I'm trapped.

United States | 29 July 2018I joined Hair Club about 40 years ago. My overall experience with this company has been excellent. I travel a lot, so I have been a member in several major cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Atlanta, and now Chesapeake, VA. Like many others, I was hesitant to make the leap, but I'm very glad I did. My 'secret' has been safe all these years, without incident. I don't think about hair loss at all and my hair always looks great. I look lots younger than my age, thanks to HCM. If you feel uncomfortable about hair loss, as I did, and you have $3000 or so dollars a year to contribute to the cause, I would definitely say, "Go for it". In the beginning, my hair loss wasn't super extensive, but no one noticed that I had 'extra' hair afterwards. :-). That was my biggest concern. However, the transition went exceptionally smooth. I just looked better and felt better about my self-image. Every work place has issues with supervisors, I imagine. But I have always been treated well at every HCM office. I really enjoy going in, chatting with the cute stylists and always come out looking supurb! I've been through many of the transitions, starting with a weave technique. The products (shampoo, etc) are a little pricy, but hey, you don't have to use them if you don't want. I use most of them because I like the products. While in LA, one of the stylist 'jumped ship' and started her own business. I liked her so I stayed with her a couple of years and she did well. I also lived in Japan for seven years teaching at a university and used a similar Japanese service while there, not HCM. They were also pretty good, but HCM is all-around better in my experience. They are professional and that means a lot to me. Every stylist I've had has had good technical skills as well as good public relations skills. They must have a good training program. I find their hair systems and products to be exceptional good. Hair Club has always been fair with me, helping me to get the right program that fits me and always offer good advice when I want to try something new, like change in hair color or style. I can't think of anything bad to say about this company and I'm one who can give out criticism easily when I don't like something. To recommend this company, for me is a no brainer. Stop worrying about your hair and go in for a consultation. Years later you will hardly remember any uncomfortable feelings about your hair. I'm at the Chesapeake office now. They are going through some changes now in staff, etc., but I have always found everyone friendly and professional there. I give this club my highest recommendations and I have a boat load of experience with them for over 40 years. Just do it!

United States | 19 July 2018I have a hairstylist, Farzana, in NYC that is, by far, the absolute best I have ever had. Each visit, when I think I can't get a better style than the one before, shocks me when I see that I get an even BETTER styling look. I am always thrilled when I see the results.........and.....she is gorgeous, to boot! I always look forward to my visits!

United States | 10 July 2018A nightmare. I'm still paying for it and the treatment didn't work at all.

United States | 09 July 2018Lost over $700 just for a "free consultation". I signed up since they tell you all these things that could happen to your hair if you dont get with them. I only have a small receding hairline and apparently that cost over $3,000. Few days after singing i decided is not worth it and canceled. DO NOT GO OVER 3 DAYS! they do not tell you how long you have to cancel but if you read the receipt it says 3 DAYS ONLY. And Attention!! The day you sing counts as a full day!! Even if its almost closing time. They are leeches and is not worth it!! Lost lot of money and did not even go to 1 consultation!

United States | 07 July 2018I have had a great experience being with HC for over 15 years. It may be more expensive than other options but the quality of hair and great haircuts is worth the cost for me. I go to the Towson office and only have good things to say! Remember, that is over 15 years of good service for me! You must take care of the system and it does take some time to learn how to manage and take care of it. A few months of living with it and speaking with the professionals at HC goes a long way! It is a great way to deal with hair loss and I can’t imagine not having a full head of hair! Thanks Hair Club!

United States | 24 May 2018Everyone at Hair Club was really nice. I got great hair cuts there but for $3,400 this is a pretty big rip off. There are 3 different options you can do but I did the EXT program. The other two options are hair plugs or surgery. For $3,400 I got a laser hair band, a 9 months supply of shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, vitamins, minoxidil, and 9 really nice hair cuts (You do also have to take at least 1 hour out of your day for the hair cuts). All of these products will help maintain your hair but will not regrow hair. The products do somewhat maintain your hair and prevent shedding but there is absolutely no reason to pay $3,400. Just order online a very good shampoo and conditioner, go to a health store and get a vitamin for your hair, and you can even get a 6 month supply of Kirklands minoxidil for $80. You will save a ton of money. Obviously if you are bald the only way to get your hair back is surgery.

Canada | 23 May 2018Was interested in finding a solution for my ever thinning hair. Have dealt with sketchy corporations in the past and after reading the reviews will continue searching elsewhere. Thanks but no thanks

Canada | 19 May 2018I been a member with Hair club for over 6 months, since the second month I'm very dissatisfied with the service that they have been given in the montreal office. I've been dealing with the manager Eric Brown but nothing usually solved. I been trying to contact for several times the general manager of Canada Joe and calling his phone number in Ottawa office but I have not had luck. I hope to receive an immediate solution from hair club. I have been disrespected by the administration lady Wendy, who in my personal opinion is the most rude and antiprofessional person in the entire montreal office.

United States | 02 April 2018The quality of the hair keeps on getting worse! I have friends that buy better hair pieces online.. the hair club hair is not worth it anymore, specially for the price. I remember when I first joined hair club almost 10 years ago and the hair was full of life and thick, now it’s dead, lifeless and thin.. the pieces shed like crazy and fall apart very easily. Now they told me that my monthly service is going up in price? Why ? The quality keeps on getting worse and nothing is advancing on the type of systems that they use. I saw the hair system that my friend purchased online and you can’t even tell it’s a hair pice the hair line is seemless, I like the system I wear, not to mention the system that he purchase moves like real hair and it’s very manageable. The system that I ware sucks you can see the glue and it’s hard to style and it feels dead and lifeless. I am considering leaving hair club after 10 years and doing what my friend does and saving a bunch of money for something much better. Hair club you need to fix this , people are noticing and know that your no longer the only option out there. People are leaving hair club left and right and the customer service keeps on getting worse . Hair club has gotten to arrogant and forgot about their customers..

United States | 02 April 2018I have been a HCM client for several years. I have to honestly say that i jave consistently noticed the quality in the hair getting worse. The stylists do not seem as well-trained and the customer service is getting the worst i have ever seen it. I have complained about the same issue for 6 months now. Nothing. I finally asked for part of my money back and was told, "thats just not how we do things". This is not a something you tell a client of over 10 years. If you cant get it right or "make it right" as your commercials have said over and over....then WHAT ARE YOU GONNA MAKE RIGHT!? Im not just a client...im a long time customer of HC and if you treat a client like me this poorly, imagine how new clients must feel? That's fine hair club....treat you customers poorly and see what happens?

United States | 31 March 2018For those of you that are seeking for a hair loss treatment, do not come to Hairclub because they will rip you off . I paid $3000 for only 9 treatments and more importantly was the treatment did not work unless you spend 300$ a month for an indefinite time. The worse I have experienced at the Hairclub was the customer service because they don't care about your concern and complain after you paid them. I actually found out a very good place where you can just order the hair treatment package that you can do at home yourself with a laser therapy hat which come out to be very cost effective. You can find this at hairsallusion or Irestore for more information. Also, customer service at East Brunswick are not friendly at all.

United States | 16 March 2018Hair club was a total disappointment to me. All I got except 1 time, I had nappy uncontrollable hair. The TV advertisement was totally deciving. I believed that hair would be sewed in. I asked about X-trands, and my answer was that it was too expensive, never given a price. The last glue on wig itched so bad I had to unglue it and get it away from my scalp. I have gone back to my hairdresser, she does a much better job.
