United States | 09 January 2017I have been a member of Hair Club for nearly a year. The staff at the Charlotte office are very pleasant and they try to make customers comfortable. My sessions are very relaxing with scalp massages and a spa like pampering. As far as slowing or reversing hair loss, the jury is still out for me on that issue.

Despite a great experience overall, the price is somewhat elevated and I wish more people would be able to afford this experience. Thanks so much.

United States | 09 January 2017I wasn't impressed with the prices and especially disappointed in the maintenance of the product and that cost adventure ---- most people are not upper class people just middle to lower class and they can't afford the prices you are presenting .

United States | 09 January 2017I was certain the bald spots were not growing hair and after several appointments they stopped comparing my photos . When my last appointment came up I did not get a comparison but was told they could put hair extensions in those areas for about $200. Each time ! I looked at the sales rep and said "I'm still paying off the 3,000. Dollars ! Can I still buy the shampoo? No we don't sell to public.. that was her answer to me! I should have been told straight out that hair may not come back , not slick song and dance the original sales rep gave me. Needless to say I was not happy about this whole deal! The women I had washing and doing my hair were very nice and competent, butvthose slick chick selling and closing the " deal" left a bad taste in my mouth, because they were not up front with me from the start.....

United States | 02 November 2016I wish I had great things to say about HC, but unfortunately I do not. In the beginning, it all seems great, good, and wonderful. Of course anyone that is noticeably losing their hair, especially a female would jump at the opportunity to get a beautiful head of hair that you can supposedly treat as real hair growing out of your head. BUT soon after placing that big down payment and starting to learn how HC works, you'll realize it's more of a headache than anything else. I have had SO many issues with HC. Whether it be from trying to schedule, or to just get someone to put your hair on correctly, or cut it the way you like…they just can't seem to ever resolve anything. If it weren't for my stylist Alley, and Denisse I would've rated the place with one star. Alley is a great stylist, and I know Denisse tries to help the best she can to resolve my issues; it's unfortunate their talents are probably overlooked because HC as a whole is awful. I was once even going to model for HC, had my plane ticket booked and everything, but once again they are just inconsistent with what they say. So I cancelled the trip, and told them I would no longer be modeling. It's also inconveniently far. It's an hour away from me, so getting there for appointments and products is SO hard. It's like they only care about getting your money. I put $5,000 down and pay $300-something a month, and they still give me trouble. At my last visit which I had to call into work for since it's so hard to get in, I waited over an hour before I was even seen. And then at the end when I was all done, I wasn't even given the opportunity to purchase more product. I was just rushed out the back door. I mean I know it was closing time, but geez. The place is so unorganized. Every time someone says they will help me, its soon after they are no longer with the company. They go through employees like underwear there. It's so inconvenient. Now I have this hair that I love, but to maintain it cost an arm and a leg, not to mention ALL of the disorganization and inconsistency within the company. I wish I could go somewhere else to get the same thing, but better service. Sadly HC is the only place around that offers this service. I've been out of product for a week now. Like I said I live an hour away, not to mention I don't drive on the freeway and I work. So I emailed them to see if I could purchase products and have it shipped to me. The first person I emailed no longer worked there. The second said she would get back to me today, but of course she did not. It's just such a hassle. I could go on and on about all the things that have been done wrong there. Be prepared to lose money, and test your patience before signing up with HC. It shouldn't matter what plan the customer is on. HC is so expensive they should treat all clients with the same amount of professionalism and care. The stylist should also note everything. They have a bad habit of expecting the client to know everything that they should. I was once even given the wrong hair. Just ridiculous. I've tried everything. I talked to a manager last time I was there and we seemed to be resolving things. However, she is no longer there. So it appears I am back to where I started. HC has the potential to be amazing, if they could just get it together, and treat the clients right. Hopefully this helps.

United States | 02 November 2016After almost two years I still have problems receiving quality hair and receiving it on time. While I have found the operators very pleasant, I can't say the same for customer service from the administration--it is inconsistent and lacking. It seems they are only interested in getting your money but not in assuring your services are up-to-par. My last visit they were more concern with my signing a new contract, eventhough I had no new hair, they couldn't tell me when it would be in and now I have waited almost a month and my hair looks terrible. And on top of that, I have had to initiate EVERY communication. For the amount of money I pay, I expect better service and more efficient communication.

United States | 10 October 2016I had a huge amount of hair my entire life and in my 40's after a horrible surgery that included very strong antibotics and lengthy anesthesia, my hair slowly stopped growing. My nails, which never broke before, began shredding. I was 45 when it became obvious. Male pattern baldness does not run in my mother's family at all. I have decades of photos. By the time I was 57, after a botched gal bladder surgery that led to an ER visit and multiple antibiotics, I had to resort to a wig. My friend told me about Hair Club. I joined right away in December about 2005 or so. I was the first blond female in Dallas I believe, but after My hairdresser and I convinced the powers that me, they let her use bleach on my hairline hair to blend with the hair system. It took a while to get the percentages of hair color just right, but we did and my hair system is much the same color as my hair was when it had it done all the time. The style is short and layered, so that was a bit different at first for the hairdressers, but I have always been happy with their effort to please and fix what needs fixing. I feel normal again. I am 70 now, and look younger because of my hair. My sweet husband wants me to continue as long as we can afford it. My doctors know how happy I am with HCM and have recommended it to patients. Women, especially, go through a major trauma in losing their hair. Thank you for giving me back my confidence. Carole Clinton

Canada | 08 October 2016I was told from the beginning that I could get hair cut when I wanted. Change my hairstyle , including length or color get highlights. Nothing was delivered. Cause whatever hair they glued onto my scalp color doesn't change. So no highlights nothing was done. Everything that was told em at the first meeting was all lies scammed me to sign the contract and took my money. Ali my if I could tell you everything they did. Shaved my scalp. I cnt hell it but to have those freaking glued hair on my scalp. I hve to go every two weeks to get them redone cause they never seem to stay on. I cnt do hair style cause it's very hard to not show that Thea eaten my hair. Huge disappointment. I hd four people that I was going to refer to but I told them not to even think about hair club. They re all liarsssss

United States | 08 October 2016My experiences with the Menlo Park, NJ office have been awful!!!!!! I showed two very clear pics of the hairstyle I wanted and spoke to a couple stylist that assured me they could do it and the style I got was NOTHING like it. Second I was misled and told that whenever I had any lifting etc I can just make an appointment because it was included in my basic plan. After I signed up I was told it was not!!! Within a months timeframe I had gone back and forth to that office over a dozen times because the unit was not properly applied or did not stay on any longer than a week. Once they even put the unit on backwards. I referred a friend that was having the same problems and he ended up going to an office in NY and they gave him the time and attention to get ALL his issues fixed and he transferred his membership there. The only thing that keeps me in the club is that I have a barber that is very experienced and can make the unit what I want it to be but I hate dealing with the office or then touching the hair at all.

United States | 07 October 2016I joined hair club two years ago. This is the best life changing decision that I have made for myself. I am a flight attendant and am always in the public eye. The orange office is amazing. The front desk really tries there best to work with your busy schedules. My stylist sheena is phenomenal. She knows what looks best with my hair she listens to her clients and really focuses on your time and makes sure your out the door quickly but looking amazing. Thank you hair club for making me look amazing.
