United States | 06 November 2024Our flight arrived a bit earlier. I called the company and the car was on its way. A very friendly guy (Giorgio?) welcomed us and drove us to the pick up point. We had to wait for two more customers to be serviced before our turn came. I was happily surprised to learn that the insurance we've taken via the website was enough, as this is not always the case. I filled-in a form, signed a few documents and got the keys. And I took a very reasonable offer to pay 10 euros to avoid checks on the cleanliness of the car upon return. Given that our two boys were with us - this was a good decision :) Return after one week was also easy. No hassle. We had a 10 o'clock flight and the same friendly guy took us to the airport - this time not with the shuttle but with a smaller car to be faster in the traffic jams. All went well.

United Kingdom | 06 November 2024L'auto non aveva la bomboletta spray obbligatoria, non ho potuto effettuare una riparazione temporanea per potermi permettere di riportare l'auto con il pieno e/o riparare la gomma. Il servizio clienti mi ha dato del bugiardo ed ora vogliono accollarmi centinaia di euro di spese. Ho provato a ruchiamare ma ora mi ignorano di proposito. Tutto cio' quando la Europe assistance mi ha detto ieri che avrebbero pensato a tutto loro e la mia chiamata era di cortesia. Un maleducato al servizio clienti puo' rovinare tutta una compagnia. Morale della favola, mi hanno accollato anche le bomboletta spray vuota con un totale di 511 euro per una foratura. Ho mandato una lettera via avvocato che hanno ignorato chiaramente! .. vedremo!

United Kingdom | 02 November 2024Felirent's business model is different from traditional car rental companies. They only tell you the true cost of your Felirent when you return the car. Assuming that your flight is within a few of hours, they will find a tiny scratch on your wheel and then charge you a replacement cost. I had insurance and they were aware. Other insurers who know this systemic approach don't offer cover for Felirent. Mine said that they'd consider withdrawing it.

Italy | 30 October 2024Terrible Customer Service – we were delayed because of our flight delay, we waited an hour for the shuttle even though we called three times and they kept telling us it was on its way – mind you it is only five minute drive to the rental place. Yet we waited an hour. When we finally got to Felirent, The two ladies were so rude – a lady with glasses and dark hair and a girl with dyed blonde hair and fake eyelashes who said she was the manager. They were both so rude to us. They said there’s nothing they can do not even help us get a new car, not even apply or $380 payment towards a new rental, not charge us a late fee and give us the car. They just told us there was nothing they could do and they made us called discover cars.com who was also unhelpful, The manager was also rude to discover cars customer service on the phone. They basically just keep your money and do nothing to help you if you have a delay flight and you missed the 59 minute pick up window.

Germany | 30 October 2024Wir mussten eine teure zusätzliche Versicherung abschließen da meine Karte für das Bezahlen nicht akzeptiert wurde. Ein Bezahlen mit einer akzeptieren Karte meiner Frau war aufgrund des unterschiedlichen namens auf der Karte ebenso wenig möglich wie die Änderung des Hauptfahrers. Für das Bezahlen der zusätzlichen Kosten für die eigene Versicherung war wiederum jede Karte willkommen. Das konnten wir absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Uns waren in der Situation die Hände gebunden, da wir mit 2 Kindern am Flughafen standen und zu unserer Unterkunft fahren wollten. Es wurde sich um keine mögliche Lösung bemüht und wurden unfreundlich behandelt. Wir haben es als pure Abzocke empfunden. Diese mangelnde Flexibilität finden wir gerade bei einem Serviceanbieter absolut unverständlich und ärgerlich.

France | 29 October 2024J'avais déjà évité cette agence comme la peste vu les commentaires horribles sur tous les sites, puis j'ai craqué sur un prix imbattable et... quand c'est pas cher c'est que c'est toi le produit!! Comme la voiture servait seulement pour deux trajets en 10 jours, le reste en garage fermé, on a décidé de ne pas souscrire l'assurance, qui aurait couté 4 fois le prix de la location. Dans ce cas, sachez-le, il faut faire un scan complet de la voiture avec une grosse loupe, de préférence avec une caméra steadycam professionnelle, infrarouges, et un expert en carrosserie à côté si possible. Ne prenez aucun risque. S'il y a une micro éraflure, ils vont la trouver et vous allez la payer 100 fois son prix réel. Leur tarifs de réparation pour une simple éraflure peuvent monter jusqu'à 3200€... Nous étions trois adultes, on a contrôlé la voiture minutieusement, fait les photos, mais il pleuvait et nous n'avons pas checké si tout y était ni si les photos étaient claires, puisque la voiture avait des micro éraflures partout, payées déjà plusieurs fois par les locataires précédents probablement. Bref, au moment de la restitution un employé vraiment désagréable comme il faut a pu faire son "A-HA!" en trouvant une griffure qui ne figurait pas sur nos photos (photo raté malheureusement), facturée donc immédiatement 310€ avec email menaçant de passer aux voies légales si on n'admettait pas d'avoir eu un accident, qu'on a évidemment pas eu!! Ils vont pouvoir nous dépouiller à partir du montant bloqué sur la carte au moment de la location, donc on est bien f...us. ARNAQUE TOTAL. Jamais plus. Depuis quand c'est le client à chercher comme un investigateur les failles de la voiture?? Depuis quand on nous rend pas un état précis des conditions de la voiture à la location?? C'est contre tout respect des codes de la consommation de n'importe quel pays civilisé. Heureusement nous avons un nombre d'avocats en famille, on fera ce qu'il faut faire avec ces petits malins. Et ne croyez surtout pas aux faux avis qu'ils se sont empressés de faire écrire pour cacher leur petit business. Location N. VRN100 2009 du 18/10/2024

Se il tuo volo ha ritardo, non avrai la macchina e il prezzo prenotato,anche se hai messo il numero di volo sulla prenotazione, poi per farti un favore ti propongono un altra macchina più grande,dicendoti La tariffa senza considerare quello che hai già pagato, tutto allettante Peccato che così ho pagato due volte! Potevo con quella cifra andare in qualsiasi altro autonoleggio! Grazie per la chiarezza.

Italy | 28 October 2024Servizio pessimo, garage completamente buio, lontanissimi dall’ aeroporto, dal banco accettazione devi attraversare tutto il piazzale per ritirare una macchina diversa da quella ordinata e poi devono spiegarla con personale maleducato e per 12 minuti di ritardo mi hanno fatto pagare il giorno aggiuntivo. Penosi, da non consigliare ASSOLUTAMENTE

United Kingdom | 26 October 2024I gave a one star because I can’t give a zero! I booked the car for 22.00. I arrived to collect the car at 22.13 I was charged €98 for an out of hours charge. There was no clear indication for an out of hours charge between 22.00 and 8.00. Never happened to me before. I walked about 15 minutes from the terminal, no enough signposts and I got lost a couple of times. The assistant was clearly in a hurry, although I was charged €98 for being “late” I wasn’t shown the car, where it was parked, how to exit the car park (it was pitch black), the car had a dent was not marked on the contract. The vehicle was filthy and only had a quarter of a tank of petrol! Not impressed. I rent a car at least 6 times a year and never had such a bad experience. Awful!

Spain | 26 October 2024Unos ESTAFADORES! No devuelven la fianza aun habiendo entregado el coche en perfecto estado, ademas nos ignoran para evitar el reclamo. Unos sinvergüenzas! Por no hablar de que pagamos 140€ por el alquiler de un coche pequeño por un solo dia. Un autentico robo. No alquiléis coches con ellos!!

Faccio tutte le assicurazioni del caso, tramite il provider, al momento del ritiro dell'auto mi propongono di fare una polizza per un eventuale pulizia dell'auto, qualora fosse sporca alla riconsegna. La macchina alla riconsegna era alla stessa stregua di come l'ho presa, ma mi dicono che mi addebiteranno le spese della pulizia del mezzo. Ovviamente questa era una strategia studiata per spillare soldi ai clienti, Alle mie proteste, l'operatore tra un po' mi metteva le mani addosso. Vergognoso!!

Germany | 24 October 2024Ich habe für September ein Fahrzeug gemietet. Als ich ankam hieß es, ich müsse eine zusätzliche Versicherung abschließen. Die günstigere Variante ca. 500 Euro die "Goldvariante" über 600 Euro. Ok, es lag wohl an der Debitkarte. Wir hätten aber auch eine Kreditkarte gehabt, das wurde allerdings nicht akzeptiert, da es nicht meine war. Da ich keine Versicherung abgeschlossen habe (war alles schon im Vorwege gebucht!!) habe ich kein Auto bekommen. Kein Auto und 320 Euro auch weg! Ich kann nur sagen, Finger weg von Felirent!
