I attended the appointment as requested although on time I was left waiting for 20 minutes. Photo-copied all the relevant medical notes as discussed and requested. however dismissed all the medical note contents which I found very worrying he handed all the medical notes back to me. Did it go well? I found the consultant very agitated a bit confrontational and condescending to me. He was very rude at times especially when I was trying to be heard and explain things about the accident. He made no comment on my Back/spine area even thought I have been attending the pain clinic for several months and recently undergone two therapeutic epidural spinal/Knee injections. Made no comments on these areas saying it was not his line of expertise and would have to get another Orthopaedics surgeon to make observations and do a report. He also would not make any comments on the issues with my left eye and said he would have to request me to an Ophthalmologist consultant to make their own observations and do a report He did however do a very painful and shocking examination on my Knee twisting and pulling making the pain even worse and I have been suffering with my left knee with even more pain every since this examination.

Unfortunately Premex are at the mercy of the consultants they hire. I had a few appointments cancelled with little notice. This is why I’ve marked them low, their communication could be improved

If I could score lower than a single star I would. After 7 weeks I still have not had the medical report back. My legal team are calling to chase this up and can not even be given a reason why it’s taking so long. Even though in my appointment he said he was going to recommend an MRI scan I can not progress until the report has been sent.

Hardly have any communication. When I did have communication it was being rushed to sign things that had been sent through to yourselves months before and I’d have a couple of days to read through and sign the documents. Was asked if I wanted physiotherapy for a medical from a few months after the accident. Was told that could be arranged. Asked when it was going to be. Would have no response and had physio twice with the NHS while nothing was arranged via yourselves. Communication for the claims needs to be improved. Actually helping the clients also could be improved and my claim is still in the process, over 4 years and still ongoing.
