Two out of four “specialists” that I was interviewed by were rude & their reports had to be amended. The orthopaedic consultant & the psychiatrist, Dr Gibbons, (17th August) were professional, efficient & put me at ease. Dr Hoe (phoned me half an hour earlier than stipulated time of appointment, was very abrupt & took very little time with me) & the psychologist (I was with him for less than half an hour. He kept telling me to relax & be quiet as other people were nearby..this caused me to shut down) were rude & their reports were not accurate. This saga has dragged on for almost three years to the day. So unfortunately I’m not a fan of premex at all. Why are you only asking me about my last experience? What about the three before Dr Gibbons. She was empathetic, professional & efficient. You should get more consultants like her.

The dr was professional and supportive

It took three months to organise getting notes from doctors as postage needed to be paid a ridiculous situation and very stressful for me trying to sort it out

Took ages to hear from them - I’m talking months. My solicitor chased them twice and when I finally got an appointment to see the Consultant, my appointment took 10 mins. No examination, he asked me lots of questions and made notes at the same time. He advised he didn’t receive my medical notes electronically so these had to be resent to him by Premex. I’m not impressed by their lack of efficiency or urgency and although my appointment was on 7th August - I’m still waiting for the report to appear.

There was an admin mistake at the start of my process in that I wasn't sent a questionnaire to give background for the consultation, but the consultant's secretary took the trouble to email back on a Saturday to put that right, so I had the questionnaire and could complete it on time. When I saw the specialist he was flexible to get me seen early (as I arrived early), so there was very little waiting and he seemed thorough and attentive.

Went for medical examination, when arriving was asked to fill out forms basically what I can and cannot do now as a result of my accident. Unfortunately didn’t have my reading glasses, found it hard to read the form and write my answers down, and there was no one there to help.

Great experience

Premex was professional polite and understanding. It was quite hard to find where to go. I had to get a family member to take and support me. My appointment was delayed but the secretary kindly sent me a message before I left and advised me on this which was very professional

Simple diagnostics and consultant appointments should never take this long. Terrible.
