I highly recommend Lee, made the experience as easy as possible. They did a lot of work to the car, really went above and beyond putting on 4 new tyres, an MOT, service and new air con. Couldn’t recommend more, will likely be coming for my next car when the time comes.

Rhys Measor was in regular contact over the order period, making sure we had the latest update on progress of the car delivery. Rhys sent us a video of the car which was lovely to see prior to collection and made all the paperwork a smooth process. Would totally recommend John Banks and Rhys.

I can say without hesitation that John Banks dealership in Colchester is head and shoulders above any of the others. I bought a new bike from them and would recommend them to you if you are looking to do the same. Excellent!

I got a good trade-in for my old car and the service from Kymberley was first-class. It was my first time using these people but I will certainly be back, can not recommend them enough, first class, recommended.

United Kingdom | 12 August 2023What should have been yet another straightforward annual experience of M.o.T. and service for my 18 year-old Honda Jazz that I had from new, turned out to be a nightmare on several levels, but all due to my aged car. However at every stage of this nightmare, there were both the Honda service staff (both in the centre and for a rescue within only a few minutes after attempting to drive home after only the M.o.T. stage) and ultimately Kymberley Cant in Sales, to complete the rescue by pulling out all the stops to furnish me with a substantially newer model to instantly replace my "old faithful" that was really beyond fixing for a further year. Well done to you all at this extremely stressful time.

United Kingdom | 21 July 2023We bought a new Dacia jogger from Katie at the Cambridge branch after being let down by our local Dacia dealer in Yorkshire We initially rang and spoke to Katie to check they had one in stock She was friendly and helpful said she would check and ring us back in 10 minutes which she did We sorted the price out over the phone and agreed the deal as we had already had a test drive We agreed a time and date to pick up and complete paperwork On meeting Katie she was very friendly and answered all our questions and showed us the car explaining everything about it From initial phone call to driving away we had very good service from start to finish Thank you Katie

United Kingdom | 13 July 2023Well I booked my motorcycle in to have the ABS light checked as it was staying on after I had riden it for a while there was nearly a 2 week lead for an appointment which is to be expected this time of year. As I live an hour away from the garage I dropped the bike off the day before 10th July. It was late the next day when I received a call saying that no fault errors were showing, so it was down to checking everything, still no error found, Honda UK were contacted and they provided a load of tests they wanted carried out. Well it's now the 16th August and no faults found but, Honda UK have sent a further list of checks. It's now the 14th September and my last update was on the 31st August as they were waiting for a front sensor to try and see if that resolves the ABS issue. This was installed but did not sort the issue. Honda UK wanted more tests to be completed, however, John Banks decided to go ahead and change the modulator The error was within the abs modulator, hay ho this is what the John Banks technician advise Honda technical back in July, however, they refused to take any notice and insisted on test after test. So we're on day 84 and I have now collected my CMX 1100CC. And I'm very please to say everything is sorted. This is both unacceptable and unbelievable This is just very poor service Whilst the time all this has taken is predominantly down to Honda UK warranty process John Banks needs increase their level of motorcycle technicians as mentioned earlier to them and train the car technicians up to cover both as only having one bike technician in the Bury depot is not the best way to operate as no cover for holiday, sickness etc.

I called up Monday afternoon and spoke with Kymberley, let her know about the car I was interested in and that I would need to be there the following morning due to times restrictions. The car had been valeted and ready to go upon arrival. I had been sent pictures and videos to ensure I was happy with the car before making the long drive. Wroten?, what the hell! I just had to tell you about buying my new 2023 MSX 125 commonly known as The Grom, from John Banks Honda Colchester. I could now bore the a—- off you with all the usual cliches ….the great service (it was), the terrific new showroom/setup (it is) but I’ll cut to the chase….sales manager young James Schollar, all round professional and a lovely guy. Yep The boy from Glemham managed to make this Scotsman almost happy to get his credit card out for this deal. So a few days later and the amount of attention the Grom has attracted “You Meet The Nicest People On A Honda” not to mention the potential customers I have pointed in Mr Banks’s direction ( yeah a bit of a discount on my next service would be nice!). So there you have it, I’ve gone from no reviews to writing a short story on why we ride motorcycles….(cause it makes us feel great). To be continued….Fergus.
