United Kingdom | 20 July 2022I am afraid I was let down badly by the dealership. I regret purchasing a plug in hybrid as a full charge only gives me 39.7 miles of electric power. My commute is 65 miles each way to Cambridge so 130 miles per day. The hassle of charging the vehicle for seven hours for about half of my one way commute. The dealer representative works for Honda and offered little technical advice when I collected the vehicle. There was also an issue with the vehicle registration number when trying to arrange insurance. As we have signed a contract hire agreement for three years there is no opportunity to change the vehicle for a petrol only vehicle. I will go to another Hyundi specific dealership to see if they can advise me on how to minimize my fuel usage as I can watch the petrol gauge go down rapidly during my commute. I hope they will spend a few minutes going through all of the steering wheel controls and the main panel. My company boss wanted to give me this company car to assist with the cost of my commute and vehicle running costs. I am worse off. I will never recommend John Banks to anyone and will advise them to look for a dealership that actually wants to deliver a good customer experience when buying a vehicle. The dealership reply is again placing the emphasis on the dissatisfied customer taking the next step. No attempt by the management to contact me and at least offer some form of solution.

We needed an automatic car quickly and they assisted us, this being our first automatic, Rhys helped with this change over. He answered many questions we had and can confirm that wish we had made the change over from manual to automatic sooner. J>B Ipswich have always done our services and can confirm that we are very happy. No hesitation with recommending them.

United Kingdom | 20 July 2022We travelled 2 hours from our home to buy this Honda Jazz hybrid, after the salesman assured us over the phone that the vehicle was in excellent condition. We were never shown photos before despite several requests. We were very disappointed to find, when we arrived, that the vehicle wasn’t prepared to showroom standard. In fact, inside the vehicle was decidedly dirty and the outside was certainly not to the standard we had come to expect from a Honda main dealership. We have previously owned Hondas for over 13 years and have never had such slapdash service. The price was reduced by £100 so we could get it valeted locally, despite our protestations that a full valet to a good standard would be over £200, as proved to be the case. To add insult to injury, after a test drive we realised the tank was almost completely empty! We had to fill up before we could even leave Cambridge must less drive 2 hours home. We did buy the vehicle, it was what we were looking for, but we would not recommend this dealership and are amazed they still have such a prestigious dealership if they treat their customers with such utter sustain. We have received a reply to our review in which they state the car had had a forecourt valet. It definitely had not - unless straw and thick dust inside the boot, thick dust and grit in the carpet, dirt inside all the cup holders, dirty windows - inside and out - and leather seats that had not been cleaned, is their standard vehicle valet. This Honda dealership is unprofessional, unhelpful and, frankly, doesn’t do the good name of Honda any favours, especially when compared to our wonderfully professional, helpful local Honda dealership, Listers of Stratford upon Avon.
