This is the first time we have dealt with John Banks and we were impressed. Our sales advisor was Rhys Measor. He was very good and answered all our questions. He understood our issue of trying to find a replacement car quickly after our previous one was written off. Initially, we were considering a diesel CR-V for better fuel economy, however, as most of our journeys are short and have a relatively low annual mileage he suggested the petrol would be better due to the particulate filter clogging and being very expensive to replace. He also showed us their equivalent Suzuki SUV so we could have a look at that and then left us to decide what we liked and whether we wished to proceed. He also checked everything was OK with our new purchase and said if we had anything we weren't sure about to ask. A few days later I dropped in as there was something I wasn't sure how it worked and he showed me how to correct it there and then.

From the initial enquiry via John Banks web chat to picking our new Jazz it was a excellent experience. Kymberley Cant was really exceptional in dealing with the sale and part exchange and kept the secret of the new car for my wife when we picked it up just 2 weeks later. I was impressed how easy it was to deal with Kymberley and John Banks, less than half a hour to conclude the sale and carrying out all the paperwork online while we were abroad on holiday. Kymberley gave a thorough handover of the car and topped it with flowers for my wife. Many thanks Paul

My husband and I bought our second Honda from John Banks, Ipswich and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Rhys Measor was fabulous throughout the process, building rapport and putting us at ease. Rhys provided us with sound financial options which fitted within our budget, managed our expectations throughout and ultimately sold us our dream Honda HRV we have affectionately named Harvey. We cannot recommend Rhys, from the service we received, highly enough. Rhys is a credit to the company.

Time to upgrade my car. Arrived with a list of ‘Must Haves’ and ‘Would likes’. I visited every local dealer for a replacement. Only Honda Ipswich came up with a car that ticked all the boxes. Thanks to Kimberley Cant, her guidance through all the spec. and electronic gadgets was very clear and the after sales service offered on the car gave me the confidence that I had chosen wisely. The car is definitely living up to all my wishes. It’s just a pity that the MOT on time had been forgotten, otherwise 5 stars would have been awarded.

My first time buying from Renault/Dacia Cambridge was a great experience. I walked in knowing what car I wanted, and they didn’t push me into buying a more expensive model, unlike other car dealers I’ve been to. They provided me with all the relevant information when buying my car, and did so with no fuss at all. Both John Banks Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds are awful! The customer service is almost non existent, they pretty much call you a liar! Car went in for a service and came back still making a noise, on taking it back I was asked why I didn’t tell them there was a noise?! If they had of started the engine and serviced it properly they would of heard it for themselves!! When we bought the car we also weren’t informed that the car didn’t have a full years MOT and only 9 months!!! Absolutely appalling, will not be buying from them again.

Just recently taken delivery of my new Honda HRV Hybrid and I have to say it exceeds all of my expectations. Many thanks to Kymberley Cant the salesperson I dealt with for explaining everything throughout the purchase so clearly and for the handover. If anyone is contemplating purchasing a new HRV do so I can assure you, you will not be disappointed.

We took our 2017 HRV for a service and ended up leaving with a 2019 HRV Sport. We were served by Rhys Measor who was very knowledgeable in demonstrating the newer model and handling all aspects of the transaction, including a road tax refund, future services and part exchange. We have been customers of John Banks Ipswich for 18 years and would like to thank Rhys and the team for their excellent service.

We serviced our car here (we also bought it from the group). We mentioned that our car breaks were squeaking and they said they will look into it. They did something about it (they charge us an extra fee for fixing the breaks). Once we got the car, the noice was actually much worse. We tried to call them to complain about it but they wouldn't pick up (always busy)! We emailed them twice explaining the situation and that we would like them to have a second look, but they never even replied to our emails or return our calls. We took our car to another garage and they fixed the problem. Never going back to John Banks. The worse part was that they completely ignore us!

A wonderful experience. I have just purchased an almost a new honda jazz ( AX19 ODH) with a low milage, and I must be admit that i couldn't have done it without John Banks Honda in Ipswich -A dedicated and professional team and specially a young female as a a sales woman ( kimberley). she made this purchase happen. i just took my old Honda for Mot and service and i came out with an almost a new car. I would always recommend the John Banks Honda to my friends. Kimberley was my lead contact- very knowledgable, helpful,good listener and specialy very caring. She is an asset to tbe company. now, I am very happy that i have found a place where i am sure they will look after my car. Absolutely recommended

What an amazing experience! I purchased a brand new Honda CBR 650. Jak was my lead contact and he was just amazing. To be honest one of the biggest reasons why i bought it was because of the service he provided. He was so genuine with his approach, views and opinions that i felt i was buying a bike from a friend. He always took my calls and emails and always did what he promised. He delivered my bike in person and did a hand over on my birthday. Thank you ever so much.

I want to Thank Darren Briggs at John Banks for making my decision in buy my Ford Fiesta from them very easy. Darren was very Polite and understanding about what I wanted to buy. Darren had a Ford Fiesta ready for me to view with all the information I forward him in what I wanted in a car. Wow Darren was very thorough and never pressured me into any other vehicle available in their car lot. I was in and out of the Dealership in less than an hour. A very Good professional at work. Just purchased my new hrv eHev from John Banks Ipswich. Edd and Kymberley were very helpful, they found out whether there were any alarm sensors inside the cab. Kymberley persevered setting up car play which now works perfectly. All in all it was an enjoyable experience changing our car made very easy by the staff at Ipswich.
