United Kingdom | 07 March 2022Booked in my Tuscon for service and MOT,I had received an offer for a free MOT after commenting on how pleased I was that you had taken over the Hyundai dealership after being abandoned by Marshalls in Cambridge, when I arrived the service reception was very helpful but couldn't honour the offer, after consulting his manager I was offered it for half price. Whilst there I was interested in looking at the new EV range, on explaining to the rep. that I wanted at least the same spec. as I have with my Premium SE, he failed to offer any advice and when I asked about what part exchange value would be available he refused and suggested that I contact "We Buy Any Car" at that point I walked out.

Rhys explained enough of how the controls worked so as not to overwhelm me. I know I can pop in any time with questions I might have in the future. Excellent customer service: professional, efficient, and genuinely helpful and friendly. United Kingdom | 21 February 2022I booked in My Renault van which was less than 3 months old under warrant because of a faulty anti skid sensor on my Renault Traffic Black limited edited edition Van, this came on in the form of an anti skid on the dashboard and would lock the speed right down and brake - very dangerous particularly when driving at 60-70 mph on cruise control with vehicles right behind you also the front drivers wheel was sticking on a complete rotation of the wheel at low speed - it was booked in with John Banks Renault Cambridge, where do i start !!!! 1. They dont offer a loan vehicle when you book in, you find out when you get there that no loan vehicle is available, and they expect you to find your own way home, i live 30 miles away and i also had to come back the same day at my own expense 2. They couldnt find the fault with the vehicle despite having it all day 3. when i collected the vehicle i found the faults within 10 minutes of driving home 4.So rebooked for home collection for which i was to pay an extra £25 and they confirmed the booking via email and yet no one turned up, before i had to go to work additionally and it should have opened my eyes, when i first went into their service department i was met by a loud radio sat on the floor looking totally lost and out of place blearing out tinny music and the drinks machine was broke ..oh what an experience lol DO NOT waste your time with these people, they do not care about you or your vehicle unless its a basic fault that is a simple fix Anything that requires a bit of skill and thinking is way beyond them and their communication is dire, you cant phone and get through, all you get is an answer phone and an error message if you want to bypass that. you leave a message and no one calls back i would recommend you find a more professional place to take your vehicle and to a garage that actually can do the work properly Also make sure you are able to phone through to the service department, so you can ask why they havent turned up or are at least are they coming AVOID AT ALL COST JOHN BANKS RENAULT CAMBRIDGE !!! their service department is run and managed by incompetant staff and the procedures are incompetant
