Had the vehicle been at my property I never would have called keysafe because I would have spotted the opportunity and done all myself, I paid how much just for a jump start , which I already have a jump starter pack

United Kingdom | 28 July 2024If I could give these 0 star I would. They installed Ghost 2 on my car. Over time I started to get electrical gremlins and countless visits to the garages and lots of money spent to figure out what the problem was and it turns out that its Ghost itself. These cowboys installed Ghost 2 incorrectly and because of this is draining my car battery when the car has been shut off. When in service mode, I get zero electrical gremlins and the car works perfectly. I have all the diagnostics to prove its ghost on how they installed it. Yet, they're blaming the battery which is not the case based on the results of the diagnosis. The first person they sent, spent most of the time on the phone, looking at instructions and speaking to the manager on how to install it. The second person they sent did the same thing, on the phone, looking for instructions and again talking to somebody on how to install it. The following day, the same symptons as previous, electrical gremlins, drainage of the battery etc. They say they want to help, but reality have no idea how to install Ghost itself and will NOT come out and remove ghost and give me a refund, even with the evidence I have given. I am now having to go to a solicitor with all the evidence I have to prove they're in the wrong to get my money back. I would STRONGLY suggest you all check yours. Best way to do this is to attach a reader to the battery and let the car shut down. The reading should roughly be 0.005 (this means the ghost is draining the battery and thats not how its meant to work) In service mode, mine read 0.001... this is what its meant to be showing. I am very p'd off as im now having to go else where and pay another ÂŁ500 plus to get theirs removed and another installed.

United Kingdom | 28 July 2024Avoid this company ,they are liars and they cannot do the job you are quoted for, the price on the phone goes up and up and up ,I think the call centre must be in America as you cannot speak to an English person. They quoted £330 for two key fobs inc coding after failed attempts to do the job and promising to call back which they didn’t I had to call them they upped the price to over £1000 ,to which I declined .They have not refunded me my £120 deposit I paid either ,liars and crooks is what they are .

United Kingdom | 27 July 2024Discovered in the morning that my wife’s car wasn’t going anywhere. Her car key had packed up and she couldn’t get into her car. I found Car Key Solutions on the internet and called them. They put my mind at easy straightaway and organised a visit that same day. When the engineer arrived he put us at ease straightaway and even told us what the fault might be. He was right. Soon had the key fixed and we were on our way. Can’t thank them enough for putting us at ease and repairing the key fob without the expense of a new one. I thoroughly recommend this company if you ever get stuck with an unresponsiive car key

United Kingdom | 26 July 2024I first called Car Key Solutions around the beginning of June to have a replacement key made for my car. They turned up, did their bit and left charging me £220 for the privilege. 4-5 weeks later, that key stops working. I call them up, they tell me to replace the battery. I do that, costing me £20 and it still doesn’t work. I call them back, they tell me this time that the key is under warranty and they will send a technician out on the 25th at 7:00pm to fix it but it might cost me a £150 fee. I question this as I had been told it was under warranty, to which she gave me some rubbish about if it’s a problem with the key it’s free, if it’s a problem with the car it’s gonna cost ya. Fast forward to the 25th at 7:10… no technician is turned up so I called to find out where they might be. They don’t know, hang up the phone on me, and then call me back 10mins later to say nobody will be coming this evening. I asked why multiple times, they avoided the question. I asked for a refund given the fact that the key that I paid £220 for no longer worked, they avoided the question. They then divert the conversation to have me booked in for the next available day and we go through that whole thing. After that, it’s booked in and then asked the same questions again. Why was my appointment not fulfilled today? Can I get a refund? She then hung up on me.
