Spain | 24 March 2021We purchased two apartments in The Wellington Building in The Strand, Liverpool from Seven Capital. Since the purchase in 2016 the capital value has dropped some 25-30%. For the owners in the building the total loss is some £1.5 million. Seven Capital hold themselves out as "investment experts." Andy Foote (the "expert" at Seven Capital) explained that they had not foreseen the large number of apartment developments in Liverpool. Well, I don't know which planet he is on but every town and city is building apartments, so what sort of an expert is he? One that cannot see what is happening in the market? The capital growth in flats in Liverpool is 19% unless you bought at The Wellington Building when the capital loss is 25% PLUS. It is of note that the company makes no reference to The Wellington Building in its extensive web coverage. And guess what ...you can attend a webinar shortly where SC's panel of experts will explain all about property investment. As Scrooge might have said "Bah....humbug...." Churchill Place leaks like a sieve, almost two years into the handover, appliances incorrectly fitted, window leaks, ventilation failures, water pumping failures, water heating replacements required. Just one disappointment after another. Sold as executive living, it's more like living on the boulevard of broken dreams!

The Seven Capital Aftercare Team took care and resolved the issue in a fast manner and sent Kevin Cleary to address the issue with the stains on the ceiling. Thoroughly professional he went all the way to resolve the issue by removing any excess humidity, thus ensuring there will be no further issues. The ceiling is now as good as new and I couldn't be happier with his dedicated, efficient and professional approach. Highly recommend him!

United Kingdom | 03 March 2021Don't trust Seven Capital. Our family is going through a lot of trouble and tension because of their inconsiderate customer service team. Because of their change in forms/paperwork we have had trouble finding suitable lenders. Changes in the forms have affected the valuation leaving us out of pocket and into more debt. They don't communicate these changes and at every step of the way have insisted on using their panel of people to complete that it feels like we are not represented fairly. Honestly don't know what to do next.... stuck between a rock and hard place.
