Sadly on the second time of using Shred it I was so disappointed…..lack of communication on pick up day and then an incredibly rude man came to pick up the bags to shred. Will not use again

All went according to contract - bags arrived collected when arranged. I found the 'paperwork' (online) a bit confusing - more explanation needed about what belonged to which bit of the contract

TERRIBLE, AVOID I was bullied into paying for their service twice as they passed my invoice to a debt collection called FLINT BISHOP (also has terrible reviews). I paid the invoice 4 weeks before they collected the bags. Myself and my Colleague had to then carry 14 of our own bin bags downstairs as they had none, All while the Shread IT worker just stood at the bottom of the stairs annoyed that there was no lift. If we hadn't carried them down he would not have taken them (Already paid for the service and put into the email that there was no lift on floor 2). 1 month later after collection they then sent me the invoice for the same service I paid for, Claiming there were 4 extra bags. Absolutely terrible customer service, Sending automated emails and then using pushing debt collection tactics after I explained I had already paid and there was no extra bags. Side note - We used our own bin bags so I don't know how they calculated extra. It was £140, I ended up paying this as we are a business and do not want to harm out credit file. We had used them for 2-3 years and something must have gone down hill recently with their management, It is not the service it once was. I will never be using them again!

Very disappointed with the service and customer service. We bought 30 bags for collection as we were told we could only use Shred It bags. Bags were duly collected but we were charged for 39! An additional cost of £200. When we disputed the invoice we were effectively told that we were lying and we had signed for 39!! We will never use or recommend Shred It again

Chasing me for another companies debt and you cannot speak to anyone in the company to put it right. Maybe they should just shred the whole company, that would be a good start.

After having issues with a failure to our collection service, I needed to contact Shred-it and Lee Johnston was very helpful and assisted me greatly. Hopefully our regular service will now be back on track.!

I approached shred it for a one off job. The person who I dealt with in the first instance didn't actually book the job in, so after a few weeks of them not collecting the shredding I called and spoke to David. He got the correct paperwork over to me to be completed and I made the payment and he gave me a date for the same week for collection. All completed from call to date been offered within 30 minutes. What started as a disappointing experience was quickly and efficiently remedied. Thank you David Tuke.

Have been using this company for the past 14 years. Called Shred-it customer service to request an additional collection. No problem too big to resolve. Shafaqat Shaikh was great from start to finish, and also remembered our last request when we were talking about it. All sorted thank you as always

Awful customer service - do not use this company!! Advised the company of office opening hours but the driver turned up two hours early when the business was not open. Driver claimed to come back, but left again. No shredding picked up but we are still been charged for failed service. Why?! Currently speaking with Shred it customer services who seem to not care and very dismissvie. Avoid - they seem to not care about their customers, awful customer care!!

I called this company to book a Shredding service a week in advance. They advised me that they would be coming around noon. I called at 1:00 pm and was told they would come at 3:00 pm. I called at 3:30 pm and was told they were not coming. They never contacted me to let me know why but rescheduled me in 10 days from my original date. My company is closing in 3 days. I found someone else to do my service.
