Guys were polite cleaned and tidied as they were going. I have 2 dogs so between us we had a plan to make it less stressful all round.

Having been chasing Britelite for almost two months, after collecting our deposit(over £7000), and a foundation has been laid, they are now saying they cannot do aspects of the work that they wrote a plan to do. They have stopped responding to emails and phone calls.

They arrived promptly on the day and finished ahead of the time. Gave us demonstration of the newly installed front and back doors and windows. Always polite and answering any question we may have. The quality looks good as expected. Not very happy with the design of the wundow in the bathroom, pattern too inteñse, not minimalistic at all!

I went with Britelite due to having previously used them with no issues. This time I had major issues with the fitters and the appalling job they carried out. Over the 3 days that the work was carried out I was left with mess everywhere which wasn’t tidied up, windows left incomplete over night with gaps so there was cold air coming through all night, old window frames left resting against new frames overnight causing clip marks in the new frames and continuous request for some areas to be left secure due to having 2 dogs which was ignored. I had to have a manager around to show the shoddy work which then took 3 people over 2 further days to correct including taking wonky windows back out and refitting them, new sealant on all windows and replacing some of the window boards which were poorly fitted. With all this in mind Britelite said they have no obligation to offer goodwill, our only obligation is to complete the job as per the contract. So for this I would not recommend Britelite as I would not want anyone to experience the stress we went through over this period.

Having reviewed the market for a replacement conservatory roof we decided to work with Britelite after visiting their show room to see just how good their offering is. Over 2 days the team removed a a glass roof covering an 8m by 3m conservatory. The following 2 days they fitted the new roof, 1 final day for plastering and electrics they were done. The space and garden were left spotless. Having started the exercise hesitant by the thought of such a big job, my concerns were misplaced. The entire team were incredible and couldn’t do enough to assure us and the finished products speaks for itself.

The job, and the windows, were too large for one fitter ! Two fitters would have completed in one day ! I had to call my son to help lift the windows into the house ! I have spent one and half days finishing the decorations for the instalment ! Now looks OK but £2000 per window is now feeling excessive !! But job done !!

Our triple glazed windows were installed in 2018 and in that time fitters have returned to carry out several repairs over the years. Three window units have been replaced (bullseye flaw in the glass, specs of dirt between glass panels and condensation in unit) locks dropping on window opening, gaps in beading, window unit dropping so glazed window sat crookedly in frame, exterior units scratched when installed so required ‘touching up’. The triple glazing does work well keeping heat in and reducing noise however, the frames are poor quality for the actual cost, the beading doesn’t sit flush and looks awful, with a gappy finish. The repair service works well and are carried out in a timely manner.
