I worked for this company I have seen some horrific things that’s would give you nightmares windows without screws in them held in by expanding foam if any body wants a detailed description of some of the things I have seen and some of the things that management have instructed the fitters to do is shambolic and in some cases highly dangerous and illegal feel free to contact me if you want to hear more my name is ty Bennett I am on Facebook don’t hesitate to message me

To everyone receiving poor aftercare from Britelite, and getting nowhere.... Contact Which Trusted Traders, and the Financial Ombudsman. Don't give up, and don't let them fob you off. You paid good money for a product that hasn't met the standard they told you it would. It's only fair they rectify it in a reasonable and timely manner, without causing you further costs or inconvenience. Update 2 15/02/21 After having to contact Britelite again for an update I am told the windows and doors might be ready mid March! (I'm hoping that's March this year) It now seems the only way this problem can be resolved is to take the matter higher. Question to Britelite.... If a new customer had today ordered a full house of windows and doors from you would you then tell them they won't be installed for at least 2 years? I'm sure the answer is 'no of course not'. Why do you therefore think it's acceptable to make a pensioner wait 2 years to have her faulty windows and doors fixed? Be warned people whilst their reviews from new customers might be good check out the aftercare, it's non existent. In response to Britelight.... As I put in my review my mum is widowed so it is not my parents but my mum. As I also stated some of the issues should have been fixed well before Covid so this excuse is an extension of reasons as to why it hasn't been done before. I also feel you should prioritise your work and rectify the issues with completed jobs before taking on new work if you do not have enough staff, especially when it is an elderly person struggling to heat the house because the windows allow draughts to blow through the house. Considering these issues were highlighted a year and a half ago I would say this should be sorted before installing a new customers windows. I myself had windows that units had blown during lockdown, and the issue was resolved within a month. Same issue as Hamilton below, the aftercare is very poor, you could say non existent. My elderly mother has had no end of issues with numerous blown windows, doors and windows peeling, windows and doors leaking I could go on. They attended an appointment to rectify some of the windows way before the start of Covid, but they had not brought the correct units with them. A year and a half on they were due again to rectify the problems on Monday 18th January 2021, this was only after I got involved on my mums behalf. Before this they had told her because of Covid her leaking doors and draughty windows were not a priority, even though this should have been fixed before Covid! As predicted on Monday my mum received a phone call to say they would not be out to fix the problems, and no date on when they will. My mum is a widower on a state pension struggling to heat her house because of the poor installation of windows and doors by Britelight. On top of this her carpets are saturated and mouldy where the doors leak each time it rains. I get there's Covid but other glazing companies still manage to rectify issues, but again this started before we had Covid and I feel it's used as another excuse. I'm also confident that they will be taking on new customers, and installing new windows. I will now give them a week to respond with a new date before taking this further as they are in breach of contract.

Yet again I’m left chasing over and over again. I left a review a couple of years ago after having bifold doors fitted. We had so many issues with them being poorly fitted and parts failing but I was left chasing the company constantly for updates on when the issues would be fixed. Now the handle on the doors has broken. We reported the problem at the beginning of November and I’m still waiting for it to be fixed over two months later. I had to chase for updates constantly and have heard nothing since the beginning of December. I’ve complained and asked what is going on but now no one responds. I understand companies are working in lockdown now but to not even get a response is really poor. Yet again it’s the post sales customer service that really lets them down
