I had replacement windows put in for a property that I let out. The service from Britelite was excellent. They quoted the cheapest price and my tenant who lives in the property said a neighbour had used Britelite and was happy with them . All of the staff who you talk to on the phone are professional and honest. The windows look great and my tenant is more than happy. Quality products and friendly staff but had to call several times to get appointment dates each step of the process.

We had a leaking flat roof and skylight replaced by Britelite with GRP in December 2020. The process was efficient from salesman to surveyor to installation. The roof was carefully examined to allow for new firrings to aid drainage, replacement of an existing roof light. The timing was delayed because of supply of the roof light, Covid and bad weather but when the roofers came they were excellent, working long hours to complete the job in four days. The roofers were very helpful, showed us the progress daily and explained technical aspects clearly. Roof is watertight to date.

Thought I would look on here to see if Brightlight were working during lockdown as I now have five windows fogging up. I have been told that they aren't doing this work at the moment, but it seems that they are happy to take on new customers.

We chose Britelite to replace our windows and conservatory doors as we found the salesman to be helpful, responsive and not pushy. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t match up. The fitters did not arrive on the date booked and I had to chase to find out when they would be coming. To name just a few of the issues we had, some of the windows had the wrong colour handles from what we had ordered, one of the bathroom window panes had the wrong pattern, another window pane was too small and 3 of the panes cracked either on arrival or while being fitted. The fitters were in a rush to get the work done and were not very careful resulting in the cracked glass and some other damage to our walls. Their attention to health and safety was appalling, highlighted by the fact they incorrectly propped up our conservatory roof with a support that was too high so they had to use this at an angle which we later found out is very dangerous. When we later complained about this to the Installation Manager, his response was “Well nothing happened”! It took 2 separate follow up visits for Britelite to eventually put the issues right. If you are considering Britelite for any work, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere!

No problems with Britelite carrying out the work, but their chosen scaffolding company were a day late putting up the scaffold, and have still not returned to take it down over a month after the installation has been completed!! Unfortunately, Britelite are being let down by an outside contractor which needn't happen if they used their own scaffold tower and provided PASMA training for their work force. I would recommend Britelite, and am considering using them again for another project in the near future, but would be very wary of their chosen scaffold company.

Everything was as promised and excellent. Options that arose during the installation were fully discussed. It was fully COVID secure and they tidied up well.

Products brought were very good, level of service very bad. Agreed timeline for finish went a week over due to not enough people placed on job as promised. Workers leaving job early.

Every stage of the construction was handled efficiently and my professional work force.

We are very happy with the windows and patio doors which were fitted on a very wet day in January. The whole process from the initial visit to quote for the job through to the installation was very efficient.
