We have had several jobs carried out by Britelitewindows in the last couple of years including a conservatory. From first contact with Steve to installation teams they have all been very professional with works carried out to a high standard. Any problems were dealt with straight away. Can highly recommend and a nice company to deal with.

Couldn’t fault the service we received from Britelite. We had all our windows and doors replaced and we were highly satisfied with the work that was carried out.

Always on hand to answer any queries I had. Steve always came back to me when he said he would. Fitters did an excellent job and were neat and tidy.

The communication from beginning to end was great. The work from initial briefing to completion happened so quick. Could always message Steve if there was any issues or questions, the installation was efficient and wasn't a disturbance. They've had many years of experience and it was a joy working with them.

After three years, a window locking mechanism broke, their guarantee advises a replacement mechanism will cost £120.00 if they fit it, or I could fit it myself at no cost. They have now sent me a new mechanism but no fixing screws, they suggest that I use the old ones (bad practise} and are refusing to supply new screws. I wish that In had gone with a different company. Buyer beware of this guarantee.

Lovely to have a rep that i didnt feel pressured and rushed by to sign up straightaway. The install was all done in a day, the fitters were lovely, put dust sheets down in all rooms and cleaned up afterwards. Slight problem with the door that was fitted, sometimes its very hard to open. The gap around the door is not even some places its very narrow and other places wider. After speaking to the install team this has now been booked in to be sorted out.

We ordered some sashwindows 9 years ago and one has already some problems opening. But the customer service was rather good and people responsive. We recently ordered 2 large sashwindows more. When a fitter came, it happened that half of the order had been forgotten, and he left. He was also alone, and that would have been difficult for him to fit the large sash windows on his own. We were called in the afternoon, asking how everything went! As if no communication had happened between the fitter and Britelite. The sash windows arrived with white locks instead of chrome ones as the existing ones, something we were not aware of. Also, the security system is quite annoying and would be easy to break if we are not careful. When the full order arrived, the good news was that 2 fitters were in and this was helpful. So we whole experience was OK but not seamless.

After my previous one-star review, and having to organise a locksmith to replace the less-than-a-year-old door lock, I was pleased that Britelite offered to reimburse costs - this was a nice gesture. However, about two years after installation, the door started not shutting properly - as in, sometimes it just wouldn't shut, but juddered against the frame. After a while of wondering whether it was the weather etc, I investigated and contacted Britelite and it transpired that the whole lock mechanism was failing. Britelite agreed to source a replacement mecahnism but I had to pay £120 for the engineer's visit, which I have now done. Basically, the door lock broke and then the door mechanism broke, all within a couple of years of a nightmare installation. As far as I can tell, short of the door actually breaking in two, every moving part that could have failed has now done so, and I was required to pay for the recent repair. I still quite like the door, but my experiences with the installation, and now all (?) the moving parts failing have been thoroughly irritating and costly. I don't know why things have been so bad, but I am guessing a lack of professionalism somewhere. I will NOT be using Britelite again.

every thing was done at the time it should be done and theproduct looks to be excellent. The slight glitch was your salesman who seemed reluctant to close the sale

This is the second time we have used Britelite for work on our home and yet again they were excellent from start to finish. Their surveyor was great at giving advice on everything in advance and the installation went without any issue. We’re really happy with the new windows and already feel the benefit of their quality compared to those which we had in place before. We also liked that they phoned during the installation to check we were happy with how everything was progressing.

All staff were great. Didn't get a choice of door. Odd features we might have asked for a different style. Rubber trap on threshold catches on door.

Having new windows is a daunting experience but Britelite made the whole experience easy and stress free. The installation team were great and installed all the windows and doors quickly and efficiently with minimal mess. I would highly recommend Britelite windows.
