Rusty fixings in the track of window,they sent someone to look who was clueless to why it had happened & stood plucking reasons out of the air, the other 9 frames are fine .They have not contacted me since the visit 3 months ago, they also ignored my emails dispite being under guarantee,6 years old windows? There have been huge gaps above the bedroom frames covered up with plastic trims,Stay clear of this company.

After having waited over 4 weeks plus for the spare part for the repair of my bathroom window that is letting in a lot of cold air as it can no longer be shut , this morning the fitter shows up with the wrong part , after having spoken to head office they blame the manufacture sent them the wrong part , total incompatence ! thanks I took the day off for nothing . Update - 14th November My window is still not repaired. Again took day off to be called in the morning to say the part has still not turned up. Told 2d later the part was arriving 'today', but no one called to arrange...I guess I will wasting more time chasing this on Monday... every time I call I am given excuses about the part being on its way, but nothing materialises. and no call backs, dreadful customer service, this company is very good at getting the job done and taking the money but not at fixing any problems there after .very frustrating wish I had used another company instead .

THEY CAN ONLY USE THE EXCUSS OF COVID FOR SO LONG................ Their customer service for existing customers is shocking!! I put in a warranty claim in September 2019 for a replacement window and I am still waiting. I appreciate that going into lockdown delayed proceedings but when other businesses resumed trading they were only taking on new business. The fitting of my replacement window was scheduled for September 2021 but was cancelled and they are blaming it on Covid again.

Beware of BS future promises from Sales team!! We had the majority of our windows installed in August 2020. The quality of the windows is acceptable. My issue is the lies from the sales team, at the time of quotation I explained to the salesman we would require an additional window in the future after some buidling work had been completed, I wanted to ensure we received the same 'discount' and were not subject to additional charges when we were ready to order the additonal window. We are now ready to order the window aforementioned, upon receiving the quote the maths didn't add up in comparison to what we paid twelve months earlier, I challenged the sales team member, who was VERY frustrated and annoyed with me, he claimed he could not see what we had previously paid regardless of me providing order details and address. I don't have access to that system so it means nothing to me, I explained we were advised we would not be penalised for ordering a window later due to the size of our original order. I will bullet point the responses: - You shouldn't have been promised that - Tony no longer works for Britelite, it sounds like he said that to get a sale - We used to be able to offer 40% discount, the rules have changed, so I can only offer you 30% discount - There is a £100 survey fee, you should have asked for that window to be surveyed last year (maybe Tony should have recommened this!!!) - Look, I won't even make commission on this sale, I'm doing my best, let me know if you're wasting my time. Absolutely shocking, I get that an addiitonal window isn't necessarily of interest, but having previously spent over £8K with a company, and at the time being very assured that we wouldn't be subject to additional charges is just very disappointing and to be compelely frank borderline fraudulent. The cost of the window is over 50% more than a like for like price of a same sized window in our original quote. Needless to say we seeked quotes elsehwere and found a reasonably priced alternative. Britelite will make empty promises in order to get you to sign the contract and pay your deposit.

The team who did the installation were on-time, hard-working and produced a great result. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that there was an admin mixup which meant I waited in for some parts to be delivered which never came - but they did arrive in time for the installation so it didn't hold that up. Just to add - this was for a flat roof in glass fibre; I have new windows on order.

Delays happend, but the staff were spot on, very good to talk to, showed good customer care.

I have been a customer of Britelite for many years and have got loads of jobs done with them. I ordered a door and window for an outbuilding when it was fitted there were scratches all over the door/window frames and the door seemed like it went down at an angle not straight. Also window pain had to be changed due to chips in the window and door handle wasn’t working properly. For the money I was paying you would expect the product to be perfect it wasn’t. Had an engineer come out to repair the scratches he did most but missed some. The whole customer service experience was terrible as I called up to report this and the customer service advisor said a supervisor would call me back they never did. I waited over 2 weeks and had to call them. When speaking to the supervisor he didn’t get why I wasn’t happy and seemed to dismiss what I was saying. Very bad customer service!! I don’t think I will be going with Britelite again.

The whole process was smooth and efficient

Our initial contact with the salesperson, P Tautz, was not a great introduction to the scope of the project. On our own initiative we visited the showroom and the options and advice available was good. The actual installation went very well, a professional job, with no mess at all to clear up.

I have always used Britelite Windows over the years to do all my Windows and door they always do a first class job. The staff are very polite and pleasant at all time.

We have used Britelite last year to put on a new flat roof on the front of our house and were so impressed with their work and the job done that we decided without hesitation to use them again when the flat roof at the rear of our house started leaking! they did a great job and it should last for many years! cleaned up after and did the job with minimal disruption, it looks great too!

Our door was fitted very professionally but we paid roughly 400 pound over the top for the pleasure but Britelite were the only company who would actually visit our house to give us s price. Can t knock them really
