Star insurance were there for me 150 percent. When a previous RV repair shop failed to do a satisfactory job and I was too sick to deal with it, Star insurance came to the party riding a white horse in shining armour. They actually care.

I damaged my caravan last year. Star Insurance were easy to contact and helpful in processing my claim. The representative I was assigned seemed to have a good relationship with the company assigned to do the repairs which made the overall process go smoothly and with a fantastic final result.

Having a slight accident in my motorhome I called the Star insurance claims line and was put at ease straight away. From there the claim ran very smoothly and efficiently. The repairers were fantastic and had the vehicle all fixed in 3 days.

Very quick response when claim lodged. After seeing repairer I had a couple of options. Star were fantastic to deal with and the money was in my account super fast.

I brought a Tricity (registered as car) and had a horrible experience with my normal insurance company get it insured (not just the Trike issue). Star was easy to sign up with and understood the trike straightaway.

After feeling like I'd been paying high premiums for years on relatively low value project/hobby cars that hardly ever leave the garage, I found Star Insurance during an online search. The quote process was relatively straight forward and within a day I had my quote. The quote was extremely competitive when compared to what I was previously paying - it made my previous mainstream insurer look like a complete rip off! My previous insurer's premium cost over 10% of my project car's value, but now I pay Star Insurance around 1.5% of the car's value as a premium. I've since recommended Star Insurance to family and friends who also have project or hobby cars, and they've secured great deals too.

I have a trike as opposed to a motorcycle, so rang around to get quotes. The first 2 companies took ages to establish what my trike actually was, and then quoted a huge amount to insure it. Star Insurance knew exactly what I was talking about, were quick to give me a price, and it was super affordable. The attitude of the staff was fantastic - I was most impressed with the company in all aspects.

I was initially satisfied with the repairer and at the time they were the only company I could find in the Auckland region that I could find that were able to do the work . The panel and paint work were first class ,the only issue was that they replaced the main door glass panel with Perspex which seemed and looked good at the time . Picked 5he motorhome and started travelling again . Headed to Tokomaru ,south of Palmerston North from Pukekohe . A 8 hour trip an hour from my destination the Perspex window popped out and was run over by a following vehicle . I stopped picked up Perspex panel and took it to a windscreen glass repairer in Palmerston North . They deemed the panel was not the right thickness for the door ,hence it popping out . They didn’t know how it lasted as long as it did . The panel has now been replaced with glass and I’m hoping to hit the road again . I also want to make a claim for the replacement glass costs . I have had insurance with them for many years and it is always very simple to get insurance organised or to make a claim - I needed to make my first claim this year for windscreen repair and then later needed to use the breakdown service and both were handled very professionally and with helpful advice.

I always received prompt service from Star. Great communication and competitive prices. I have not had to lodge a claim as yet, but envisage that this would be handled in the professional manner I have received so far.
