I’ve tried contacting via every possible way, have wasted hours and hours of my time and still have no idea where my order is as I just can’t get through to anyone. I feel so let down and frustrated! I will never use them again and advise anyone else to avoid at all costs!

United Kingdom | 07 August 2021My recycling boxes were missed on the Dunbar high street this morning. I rang the waste services and got a very helpful lady who sorted it out for me. A nice young man turned up at the door, explained what he was going to do, took my boxes away in his van and returned them a wee bit later emptied. Thank you to You both.

United Kingdom | 29 July 2021I haven't had to deal with their customer service, but I got my 7 month old daughter a toy for Christmas and wrote a public review addressing some of the design faults (splintering wood, areas of the toy that were not filed down at all, dangerously sized pieces easily detached) and they never posted this review. It had no inappropriate language. They are selective about what reviews are published on toys, even when the toy has genuine and dangerous faults which may make them inappropriate for certain ages. They screen all the reviews submitted and decide what they want to be public.

It ended up being faulty, so we contacted customer services who sent a new set out immediately and is due to arrive 2 days after first making contact. Thank you to Lydia from Customer Services.

United Kingdom | 19 February 2021Shocking customer service! I will not be ordering from here again. I used to think ELC were a reputable brand. I received my order - one item was incorrect and part of the other item was damaged. The damage was a manufacturing issue, not something that happened during transit. I sent them an email by reply to my order confirmation and through their contact form on their website. No reply after 4 days. Contacted them by DM on Twitter. No reply. Contacted them again by DM. No reply. Left a post on Facebook and on Twitter. No reply - though they were answering other comments placed after mine. After 4 days of being ignored I finally got through to someone on Live Chat and it was like pulling teeth trying to get it resolved. This was a birthday gift that I now haven’t been able to give and they don’t care. Not even an apology for the mistake with the wrong item or the damage to the other item.

United Kingdom | 30 December 2020Rarely do i write a bad review. But my father bought my daughter a toymade by ELC for Christmas. Before he had even given it to her he had a safety recall on it. And then to add to it on Christmas day we opened it to find the wooden bus had 2 wheels instead of 4. I contacted them with the order number which they requested, all I wanted was to be sent the replacement wheels which I sent a photo of with box. Only to be told they couldn't discuss it any further due to gdpr and my name not being the one who purchased it. I didn't want to discuss the order I just wanted the gift to be fixed. And as someone with 3 children under the age of four, I can tell you we have a LOT of toys and have never experienced such useless customer service.

Faulty toy, with a known issue which had been experienced by lots of customers, yet a customer service who were completely obstructive and unwilling to help. Disgusting behaviour from a brand who are meant to care about children.

One part was discoloured and one part was missing the holes that should have been drilled to construct the toy. In trying to fix the poor quality part the part broke. ELC have refused to help at all and have claimed we broke a warranty.

United Kingdom | 26 June 2020I have never written a bad review before but this needs to be addressed, three times I have ordered, the first order was lost so I went through my bank and got a refund the second time I ordered one of the items were broken however I had to get it out to put batteries in so I guess I can't send it back, the third time half my order was lost the only reason for 2* is because the lady on the phone was lovely and is sending the lost items out again. Hopefully I recieve it and I will not order from here again.

United Kingdom | 11 June 2020Ordered a swing due for delivery by 16th may never showed up the tracking stopped working I couldn’t get hold of elc after sending maybe 5 emails I got a reply to say my parcel was lost in transit and then they took another month to give me my money back so do not waste your time buying from here it’s not worth it my kids were so upset they didn’t get a swing I ordered from Argos with no problems

Bought a happyland fire station for my sons 2md birthday and at £44 was not cheap but it looked good and advertised it played sounds etc. However when I set it all up 2 nights ago it doesnt work and elc refusing to replace it as it was bought at a mothercare store and not an entertainer store....despite the fact they still currently stock this product and could replace. Honestly spend your hard earned cash elsewhere

United Kingdom | 30 May 2020Ordered 2 items from the ELC a wooden push along kitchen and accessories to go with it. Order was for my nephews 1st birthday. Order was placed on the 7th May at the time of placing order website informed 10 working days for delivery. After placing order Delivery Eta was 18th. 18th May came and went I waited 3 more days just incase it had been delayed due to current climate but had no delivery. Checked my email to find an email informing order has been dispatched, I clicked on track but it just gave me an error saying unable to track. I went on their Website to try and contact them, at the time live chat was available so I queried why I couldn't track the order, they just told me that the order was not picked up by the Warehouse... which obviously didn't make any sense because they sent me email to say order on the way its been dispatched. But any way customer advisor was not providing any answers and was beating round the bush avoiding the question. So he advised he will 'push' my order through and promised it would arrive Saturday 23rd May. we are now on the 30th May and I still haven't received my orders. They have taken my money and left me with no goods. Customer service is absolutely dispicable. I have tried contacting them on 3 separate occasions and now the only way I can contact them is via email... I have left them 2 emails and yet no reply. IF YOU CAN'T FULLFILL CUSTOMER ORDERS YOU SHOULD HAVE SHUT YOUR DOORS LIKE OTHER RESPONSIBLE RETAILERS AND NOT BUILD FALSE HOPES IN YOUR CUSTOMERS. THIS IS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL BE ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE. I most definitely will not reccomend the ELC AND THE ENTERTAINER TO ANYONE.

United Kingdom | 21 May 2020Placed an order for 2 items on 2nd May with an estimated delivery date of 13th May via Hermes. Hermes failed to deliver it and when I chased it up with Hermes, they asked me to contact ELC. I had emailed ELC and sent them 2 Facebook messages, with no response. It is pathetic that they haven't even acknowledged my email or any messages, can't even demand an investigation, replacement or refund
