Bought a Pakistan A330 1:400 phoenix aircraft for my son, ordered on the 22nd December arrived on the 24th, couldn't ask for more, website easy to use and navigate. Also had some good offers, these planes are realy collectors models and not for 10 year olds who actually play with them (they are better than plastic kits though) and so the wheel pins fell out, a little dab of super glue and back up and running. Great experience and his collection is growing.

They sent out the models the next day and were well packed. Models were great.

Fast delivery and good details of a beautiful model British Airways A318 (1:500). However, as a Christmas gift for a 9 year old boy is a very disappointing choice! This is his favourite model, but its front wheel got broken within minutes, and in fact all three landing wheels are very fragile and weak. It can’t be glued back as it’s very tiny. Definitely not recommend for kids under 12 or as a toy to play with! For collection is ok, but kind of small, hopefully 1:400 scale should be stronger and better quality!?

I bought a Herpa plane and some stands and when they arrived there was no hole in underbelly of plane for the stand which was not on the description at the time. I asked to return and eventually got the ok to return the items. I posted the return on 28th November and did not get a refund until 14th December after I had raised a Pay Pal dispute. I have never had to do a PP dispute before but due to no acknowledgement of the return until 14th I had no choice. I would certainly not buy at AMS again as out of pocket on postage for an item not described well and customer service really really poor. I’ve given 2 stars, not 1 as delivery was fast and well packaged.

Ordered 3 items for my sons birthday, which I ordered 12 days in advance and they unfortunately didn’t arrive in time for his birthday, and also still haven’t arrived even now after. The customer service team do respond but unfortunately have offered very little help in the matter as I am £56 out of pocket with no items still. The “tracking information” provided still claims that Royal Mail are awaiting the items from AMS. AMS response has been “due to strikes etc” however there have only been 2 days of strikes since my order, therefore there have been 9 other days of which this order could have arrived. Please be aware of using this company, in this current cost of living crisis, I don’t think anyone wants to be in the situation I am in.

I placed last minute order to AMS for gift to my son. Last minute in a sense I have limited time in UK before departing to my home country, Malaysia. Audrey has been very helpful and offered alternative since my original order is not available. Once substitute items has been confirmed, Audrey expeditiously proceed with processing the order and it arrived quite quickly, with time to spare. My son is so excited to receive his gift and keep pestering me to return as soon as possible. Thanks Audrey and AMS for your very professional conduct. Am looking forward to future order.

Items are always securely packed,received by me two days after placing orders ,and always brand new,no damage or missing parts. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Royal Mail always used, despite them being on strike,parcels only day late when this happens.At least Royal Mail staff hand parcels to me personally,this compares with another courier who dumped a parcel in a compost bin in the front garden.
