I have placed a few orders with AMS and they always provide a fantastic service.The models are well packed and always arrive undamaged and within a couple of days of placing an order.After meeting one of the guys at Manchester Airports TAS fair in July I was struck by how friendly and knowledgeable he was(I'm sorry I didn't get his name).I will definitely buy from them again.

Absolutely awful experience with AMS. This is my second complaint on here about an order I placed and subsequent request for a refund. I resorted to writing a poor review on here as their customer service is atrocious, never dealt with such a low standard before. The only time I received any kind of response was after my review on here. I was the assured I would receive a refund within 5-7 working days. So to give them the benefit of the doubt, I removed my review. I wish I hadn’t as over a month later I am still waiting for my refund. This is just unacceptable. I will not be removing my review again.

So far I have had an excellent experience with a reply to my delivery request being acknowledged within a couple of hours on a Sunday. Bearing in mind that I am only buying the model kits, the base prices are on average very competitive with sale items being proper bargains.

My (now), four-year-old Grandson has made a number of flights on British Airways Airbus 320s, so I had been looking for the Herpa model of the BA A320 but they were out of stock... and then AMS sent me a 'back in stock' eMail in time for me to order one for the current trip this week. I ordered on Friday, and opted for 48-hour Royal Mail delivery... but then over the long weekend discovered that my family was flying on Thursday, not the following weekend as I had originally thought, and I was concerned that the parcel might not arrive in time. I contacted AMS and asked if the delivery could be changed to Royal Mail 24 hour. The initial response was "Err, no it’s already with despatch", but then Aubrey took the matter up and, indeed, the delivery was changed. The model arrived on Tuesday, and was assembled by my Grandson with great delight, and has flown with him so that he could show Captain Speaking that he, too, had an A320. Full marks to AMS for giving me a Heads Up that the model was back in stock; and a huge thanks to Aubrey and whoever in the despatch department who expedited the delivery and produced one extremely happy Grandson.

Placed several orders over last few months and all have been well packed and despatched, and delivered, quickly and on time. Prices are good, especially if you join the ‘club’. Highly recommended retailer.

I ordered two models and some time later was wondering where they were. Royal Mail tracking said they were delivered but they were not at my home nor the local post office (Australia) who had no record of receiving the package. I contacted AMS and they responded immediately, discovered 'delivered' meant back to the warehouse for some reason and dispatched replacements which duly arrived very quickly. Great service AMS!!
