I placed an order for a jacket in the Black Friday sale, and it went through and I was charged. Three days later my order was cancelled by Barbour and refunded to my card due to the item being 'out of stock', however two days after this it was listed as being back in stock again, but at full price. When I asked customer services why my original order had been cancelled, they provided no response other than to tell me I was welcome to now purchase the jacket for full price (an extra £100). Exceptionally dissapointed with the way customer service is handled.

Achtung!!! Barbour verschickt über DPD, wenn die Ware nicht ankommt (was oft der Fall ist) kann man Sie NICHT stornieren, Barbour versendet einstweilen auch keine neue Jacke.

Purchased what I thought were good quality pair of slippers from Barbour for my husband last Christmas. Slippers were fairly expensive for what they were but my husband really liked them. Our slippers are indoor slippers and it's always been that way. In October of this year, we had black rubber pieces appearing all around the house, when we went searching, we discovered it was the sole of my husbands slippers. What a huge disappointment. Would not buy again and would certainly not recommend.

Shocking service! Purchased wellies that split within 6 months!! They do not want to refund only issue a credit on my account. Then make it very difficult to try and use this credit. Keep emailing, slow replies. For what you pay you’d expect better service.

Very disappointed. Bought a pair of boots from the shields outlet (from the full price section). Worn once and noticed a fault with the leather (a funny crease up the front). I took the boots back and wanted a replacement as I loved the boots but there were none in store. Assistant checked online and none available there either. I asked what would happen to the boots and was told they would go into the outlet part. To which I asked if I could buy them back at a discounted rate if I wasn’t able to get them elsewhere. Girl spoke to who I assume was the manager and he came back and said they weren’t in a saleable condition. I told him that didn’t matter as it was me that had worn them and I was willing to pay for them like that and he simply wouldn’t let me and told me that instead they would be destroyed and go to landfill. For a company that pride themselves on caring for the environment etc this is a really disappointed response. Rather than accept my money for the boots the store assistant would rather put them in the bin - what a waste of the leather. Disgusted.

Very disappointed with quality of Barbour slippers. After a few months of wear the stitching has broken apart. After contacting customer services showing pictures and providing proof of purchase. I have heard absolutely nothing. Bad show Barbour .

I bought a pair of wellington boots from ASOS and unfortunately they were faulty, they would not refund me as I had worn them, which you have to to see that they leaked. I only emailed Barbour to tell them my predicament and they were fantastic. I got a replacement for the wellingtons and am now a very happy dog walker. A big Thank you to Barbour

I had an issue with my Barbour jacket. Ive received the most excellent customer service from Barbour (Alisha). They immediately sent me a pre paid label to post it to them. They arranged for it be rewaxed and I received it back in perfect condition the following day.

Fabulous service from Edward in customer services. I originally bought our wellingtons from a different online shop but they had started to leak and were over a year old. The online shop would not issue a refund so I contacted Barbour customer services and after providing proof of purchase, photographs, and returning the items, as requested, Edward issued replacement pairs within a couple of days. Fantastic, very responsive, and professional service from start to finish. Thank you Edward.

I originally bought a pair of Barbour wellies from a high street store around a year ago and unfortunately, a small defect developed. However, after sending through a photo as proof (alongside proof of purchase), a replacement pair was shipped to me next-day at no cost. Lynne in Customer Services was fantastic support from start to finish - always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and best of all, lightning-fast in replying to every message. Thanks again Lynne!

My wife just got me a Beaufort standard waxed in navy. The color of the tartan lining inside is beautiful and the jacket feels very sturdy. I also love the back compartment, a signature of this jacket. It does look a bit short on the arms and it is probably a bit overpriced. i wish they hadn't moved production oversea but, nonetheless, the design and quality are still there.

Outstanding service and a perfect quality product. On Saturday evening, I ordered on line a tartan liner for my Barbour jacket. Thereafter I had confirmation emails of despatch and delivery. It was delivered by Dpd on Monday- 48 hours later and at no charge to myself. The sizing and quality is excellent. The packaging and labelling, clear, secure and environmentally friendly. Furthermore, I have not been bombarded by Barbour for "feedback" and the irritating "how did we do ?" etc. Well done Barbour and thank you. I will certainly use the online service again.

Barbour Deutschland ist leider einfach nur schlecht. Nicht unbedingt die Produkte, aber der Kundenservice, Lieferung, Abwicklung etc. ist unter aller Kanone - das muss einfach mal ganz deutlich gesagt werden. Dazu kommt, dass die Sachen mit DPD verschickt werden, was dazu führt. Dass es einer Schnitzeljagd gleicht, die Sachen überhaupt zu bekommen. Premium-Preise und einen derart miserablen Lieferdienst bzw. Nicht-Lieferdienst zu benutzen, passt in meiner Welt nicht zusammen. Nach mehreren Wochen wurde die Ware einfach in die Retour gesteckt. Ohne meinen Zuspruch oder anderen Grund. DPD hatte einfach keinen Bock die Ladung auszuliefern. Der Kundenservice bei Barbour will auch nichts machen, dabei entscheiden die, welchen Lieferdienst sie auswählen. Die zucken nur mit den Schultern. Absolut schlecht.

Do not buy slippers from Barbour. They are expensive but poor quality. £50 a pair of slippers doesn’t even last for 6 months. The bottom sole plastics broke into pieces. I have never seen any product as bad as that. I wrote to Barbour customer service with picture. They are not interested to investigate why their product quality is so poor but asked me for the proof of purchase. Who will keep the receipt of a pair of slippers for 6 months?

I bought a pair of Barbour wellies from a retailer and while they were supprisingly comfortable in less than two months the sole split away from the upper for at least a inch long result a very wet foot the other boot is also splitting very poor quality

Barbour & their sizing really sucks I’ve purchased 3 corebridge jackets in recent wks 1 frm eBay xl. 1 frm Griggs xxl 1 frm Charles Hobson xxxl First 2 too small & the later was perfect on chest & arms , but like a tent at the bottom (hem) cost me £28 on returns. 🤬 Awful sizing disappointment really. 👎

After my fiancé tried many jackets she decided on a navy blue men's wax one. We were told by the shop in Bicester it was the only one and was from the display. The first time it was worn the zip broke. We were told it was because so many people had tried it on in the shop and went all the way back for a replacement. I collected it and on further inspection noticed it was black with blue liner. Shop was no help so called customer services. After an apology and photographic evidence apparently I was wrong, it was blue? The reason it was darker than the other one is because the other one had faded in the shop? I was informed they would not put a blue lining in a black jacket. They offered me a replacement from head office but did not stock this any more so would have to spend more. I decided to send it back for a refund. The point is if you want to buy an overpriced wax jacket that can change colour, or fade under a light, or has a broken zip, then buy Barbour and be told how wrong you are by not noticing the difference. I have a picture but not sure if I can add?

i asked for Barbour slippers and wellies for gifts and how disappointing they both are! The slippers are cold, my feet stick to the bottom of them and the insoles have come lose, the wellies insoles have also come lose very quickly and the side adjusters just don't stay where they should so as I walk there are jingly noises, very disappointed in what I always thought was a strong high quality British brand!
