I did not receive order until a day late. Meat was not frozen. I didn't believe it should be consumed. An email about the experience went unanswered.

Ordered a few items for Valentine's dinner with my girlfriend. The fish quality was good but wrong item was sent to me. I ordered a bluefin tuna O-toro but received an akami. The support team was quick to refund me the price difference after I complained about this issue.

Great service as always - put an order in for last week and subsequently discussed with Nobu-san about what availability looked like for other products that were interesting. All the product was great as well - 300g Maine uni, 200g Santa Barbara, and individually packed ikura.

The order came on-time. The fish also tasted great and looked exactly like the photos. I also loved the way the shiso leaves were packed. If I'm looking for high-quality sushi fish, I'm always going to order from Yama.

Ammazing service, quality, and price

We love ordering from Yama seafood for a special occasion at home. It makes sense for us to do a large order so we have food for that night and at least a week or two worth of delicious sushi dinners. Its a real treat and super easy. Not to mention super high restaurant quality at a low price per meal. Glad the shipping has been flawless even in the winter.

It keeps getting better. This was my second purchase. My last time, I undercooked the rice and needed a better knife, but the fish was excellent despite our challenges. This time we cooked the rice right, and we bought a quality sushi knife. This made the difference. We purchased O-toro, salmon belly, eel, tamago, miso cod, and salmon skin. Everything was top tier. We are going to become Yama regulars.

Loved the Valentine’s Day special with free chocolates! Ordered the Hokkaido uni, chu-toro, salmon belly, ikura, and spot prawns. Packed extremely well! Directions for thawing were definitely appreciated. Overall was a great experience with incredible freshness delivered right to your doorstep. Great for hosting or in our case, for a special sushi & sashimi night at home!

The quality of the seafood exceed my expectation. I order sushi/sashimi grade seafood frequently, so fat this is the best.

Even in Japan it’s not always easy to get saba this fresh! It needs just a light shime preparation so you can taste the fish itself

I was slightly disappointed in the variability of the Muki Scallops and the Fresh Tuna for sashimi. Some scallops were a bit small and the Tuna had a little sinew. Everything else was great.
