I was a recipient of meals when I was recovering from surgery. It was such a wonderful gift to received when I needed it most to help feed my family when I couldn't get around the kitchen as usual. Now it is one of my go-to things to do for people in my office that are in similar circumstances.

Easy to navigate site and place order. Fast delivery turn around.

This website was very easy to use and I am so thankful to still have the option of sending a meal to someone in their time of need from far away. I cannot comment on the meal itself since it is a gift for a friend, but I was very happy with the meal choices, and I love the fact that they can choose their own meal and have it delivered at their convenience.

Everything got confusing because we had to place our order on a holiday weekend, but the Send a Meal folks straightened it all out with no problem. Caution to senders - beware of holiday weekends if you are in a rush to get a meal to someone.

excellent customer service! I had inadvertently put the wrong delivery address and send them an email about it, 2 minutes later they changed the shipping address and emailed me back! BRAVO

I had three out-of-town friends/ relatives in the last month who had surgery, and I wanted to help them out in some way. I was excited to find this Send a Meal service! I sent all three a multi-meal package. Delivery took a little over a week, which was fine. My true concern was how the food tasted. I've heard from two of the three people - one said she was pleasantly surprised how good the food was; the second person loved two of the entries and said the lasagna was "fair." All in all, I would use this service again.

The experience with ordering was great. I feel the shipping procedure could be upgraded to delivering on a certain day, if the customer so desires. Otherwise, I will be back as a repeat customer.

Just my friend's reaction was enough to know that she loved it and I appreciate you all for sending a wonderful gift.

I sent the 'a gift for everyone' to my Dad for his birthday. At no fault at all to Send A Meal, the UPS delivery driver did not deliver the box on the scheduled day with a message sent to me saying they had missed the box on the truck and the delivery would be rescheduled. When the order arrived three days later, some of the meat had defrosted. Send a meal sent another box out the very next day! Oh, and my Dad says it all has been so delicious that he wants another box next year! I will certainly be ordering again.

Delicious fresh-tasting food, quick to microwave. Only downside is packaging waste, but I don't know how to suggest getting around that.

Had a bit of trouble ordering online using a gift certificate. But the very kind representative assisted me with the order & it went through. I'm looking forward to enjoying my Italian dinner!

Website isnt very user friendly or pretty on a mobile device.

The purchasing was easy and sent a meal certificate. The shipping options are very high if you want to order for yourself, I know it doesn't cost $19.99 to ship 1 meal in 3-5 business days. I've ordered similar meals (not as gift) that needed cold packaging at half the cost.

If you're looking for quick turnaround, this is not the place to order from. I placed an order Monday evening to send to my family who had a death in the family. On Tuesday evening I got an email saying that my order would be shipped on Friday. ( 4 Days to process and order!? ) Shipping costs are also ridiculous. For 3-7 days it was $23. For 2 day the costs jumped well past $100. Can't comment on how the food tastes.

Fast and easy to order. Although I put in the receivers e-mail it still asked me for his shipping address. I'm not sure if this went to his e-mail or his mailing address. I'm hoping it went to his e-mail for faster delivery. I am a little confused on that part.

I have received multiple requests to review Send a Meal but they haven't even shipped the food yet. What am I supposed to review?

Just ordered for first time a few days ago. Paid for shipping (which was half the cost of the food). Was told 3 days for delivery. The site is now saying delivery prior to 5/15 which is close to a week after I ordered. I haven’t received anything letting me know status of order nor is there a tracking number when I log in. This is very frustrating as I was hoping the food would get to the family when the food was needed the most. Missed that oppty. Not to mention calling the 800# takes you to a black hole.

It not clear on the status of an order. The delivery dates are also not clear. If you would make those details more clear then this would really help. Also, I have yet to hear how the food turns out. I hope they like it.

Ordering and delivery were great. The product was the OMAHA Steak Brand. I was a bit surprised.... I thought this was an independent food source. I could have ordered through OMAHA.
