Although a bit pricey, the meal was delivered to my friend on time and she said it was delicious. A nice gift idea for a new mom.

I ordered the tilapia meal for my sister's birthday in Atlanta. I couldn't go see her so I thought this was would be a nice opportunity for me to wish her happy birthday. She received the meal on time and she called me to thank me for it. She called me a few days later and told me that she had prepared the meal. She said that it was exactly as it was described that she prepared it and the food was wonderful. She said the desert just topped it off. I delayed placing my review until after the food was delivered and my sister ate it to make sure that I gave a really real review. Thanks so much for providing this option.

I sent these meals as a gift. The date was deceiving. I thought it was the delivered date, not the shipping date. That was definitely not clear so I had the people I was sending it to make sure someone was home and they didn't need to be. However, my friend receiving the meals said they were delicious and she loved the nutritional facts included. She just found out her daughter has diabetes so this was helpful. I would consider getting my friend a gift card here in the future but am still annoyed at the delivery date.

I ordered from Send A Meal 2 times. Both times the recipients told me the meal was delicious. I recommend it to all my family and friends. I just found out that the person I sent the meal to didn't know who sent it because there was no message. I know I sent a message, so maybe you can be more aware of this. Thank You.

It took me an hour to try and order on line then I had to call and talk with someone and he had the same issue but we finally got it to work this is the only reason I gave four stars I purchased as a gift for my niece who had a baby so not sure how the food taste but it looks very good

Being sick sucks. Being able to help someone with a service like this takes just a little of the suckiness out of it. Many thanks to Send A Meal for providing a great service and allowing a tough time to be just a little bit better. On time, on budget, high quality. Simple as that.

SendaMeal's overall service is great because of the relatively easy access across a wide variety of vendors and food offerings, the quality and reliability of the payments process, and the one time I did have a wrong item delivered they immediately fixed it by sending the correct meal which I'd ordered, with no additional charge (even though I ended up with also having the wrong item that was still edible by my guest). The website ordering address is a little clunky, I had to call in order to find out that when ordering a gift certificate to be emailed to someone else, I still had to enter 'my' shipping address (it confusingly looked like they wanted my gift recipient's address in that part of the checkout process; some wording on that page would have helped). For gifts, this is a great option because so many different tastes and cuisines can be accommodated, we don't have to know all their preferences in order to give them something tasteful and practical.

I haven’t tasted their meals. But, when you live in TX and want to bless a family going through a medical procedure and recovery in MD, this was the recommendation I received. It was easy to do. Now, I’ll wait to hear from the recipients how their end works out!
