Lots of conveyancing firms are slow and difficult to contact but Tom always kept me up to date and the app is great for notifications as things move forward. We’d already read the very positive reviews, all of which turned out to be confirmed by our experience in the conveyancing of two houses with Fletcher Longstaff. We’d had our offer accepted on a house and felt it was important to have a conveyancer who was not part of the circle of local solicitors and estate agents etc. and this was borne out when we found ourselves under some pressure from the local agent to ignore Tom Hansen’s advice and push the purchase through, despite some significant problems. Tom gave us the clarity we needed to pull out of the purchase and, good as their word, Fletcher Longstaff charged us nothing - we only paid the search fees. Having Tom already on board meant that when we found the right house, we were in a position to proceed immediately, buying the searches on the day we agreed a price. Fletcher longstaff really do seem to have the process locked down. We always knew what progress was being made and had a clear understanding of what the end costs would be. We know people who have had some bad experiences with other conveyancers so it’s good to be able to share what a positive experience this has been for us.

Craig Dixon and team did our conveyancing and my wife and I are more than happy to give them 5 stars. We are thankful to Craig and also the person who recommended them to us. They made it so easy and relatively stress free for us to purchase our house. Communication via emails, phone calls and the excellent online portal meant we were always kept up to date with progress. Phone calls were answered immediately. What a plus in this day and age! We were unfortunate to have to use other solicitors for the rest of our house purchase, (Country Wide Conveyancing being one) and it was chalk and cheese compared with Fletcher Longstaff. Efficient, genuine, honest - 3 qualities so hard to come across when you are buying and selling houses, but Fletcher Longstaff are way ahead of the rest and definitely merit their 98% 5 star rating. The only thing that blotted their copy book was this sentence in the last email they sent: 'At the end of each month, we select a 5-Star review from that month, at random, and send the reviewer a £30 Amazon Voucher.' I don't think anyone should be rewarded for reviewing a company as it could lead to compromised reviews. Also, we don't like using Amazon!

Gareth Edwards was super responsive, professional, and thorough, and this was vital because it took *7.5 months* from our first offer to final completion due to issues up the chain. The solicitors on the seller’s side were frustratingly slow (blew right past our agreed exchange date) and atrociously uncommunicative to the point we nearly gave up and started looking for other properties, but Gareth was a pillar of trust and patience every step of the way. We always felt like we were in good hands and that he understood what we needed. 

The price of their services are also really affordable and they never tried to upsell us in any way.
