I purchased a used 3 series bmw from here , sales team was good not pushy in slightest and informative. I did have a coil pack go after purchasing, but this wasn't garages fault, they saw me the same day used diagnostic machine to identify problem and replaced , they had me back on the road within a hour , fantastic experience for aftercare and even offered me a drink while I waited and seating area. This garage seems to be very good they seem very professional.

Bought my Fiat 500 online, part exchanged my Smart Fortwo. All dealt with over the phone brilliantly by Peter. He explained everything and was very patient! The chap who drove the car from Tonbridge to Hull the following week was more keen to get to his hotel for the night than bother showing me the car itself, but I understand he was not employed by Horsepower as such. I've had a bit of bad luck since I got the car, having a puncture on the North York Moors, and ultimately needing breakdown assistance as 3 hours using hazard lights had drained the battery!!(Just one of those things that can happen!) The main issue I had was that the telephone system (Blue and Me) spoke Italian!!!! I don't!! Alison at Horsepower responded to the problem, sending me emails with loads of information.... then the antique computer froze and I couldn't use it anymore for the Internet.... so Alison posted me a USB stick with the relevant files loaded on, and hey presto, today I can finally pair my phone!! Really really grateful and would highly recommend Horsepower Motor Centre 100%

I purchased the car online as I live in Devon. Had to pay for the car prior to being handed the keys etc. Lots of dinks on the bodywork and now have concerns about the gearbox and the knocking which is frequent. Also disappointed with the alloys which are badly kerbed. Just hope that the warranty which I paid for is good as I feel I will be needing it

Was interested in two vehicles on the website so rang early afternoon to see if was possible to test drive since this was the first time for purchasing a pick up trust and wanted to see which suited better. Lady confirmed that they were both still available and would call back to confirm when I could test drive. Called back a couple of hours later since was in the vicinity. Was told that one had been sold that morning and that I couldn't test drive the other since (a) it needed an MOT and (b) it hadn't been serviced and the guy didn't feel comfortable taking it out. In fact, he wasn't interested in offering a test drive at all - apparently you tell them which car you want and then they get it ready and you are then allowed to come and see it to check everything is working. Apparently test drives aren't part of the Horsepower customer service - you need to be pretty committed to a single vehicle before you speak to them. Went to Sevenoaks Van Sales where they were very happy to let me do test drives and take my money!

We brought our BMW X3 from Horsepower in November 2021. It developed a problem a few weeks after we bought it so it went into their workshop for repairs. The car was OK for about six weeks, but the problem then started again. We've been trying to book it back in, but we keep getting their answering service. When you do get through they don't have any courtesy cars and will call back when they do ..... The last conversation my husband had with them was not good and they couldn't fit the car in until mid May. The after service care has been appalling considering they sold us a car with an ongoing issue. We would not recommend them to anyone.

Recently had my car with horsepower to have the timing chain repaired as well as other things within the engine. The service I was given I can’t not fault at all, everyone was very helpful and the mechanic Mike explained all questions I had with great knowledge and helped explain what was wrong and what needed to do as well fixing and getting my car back to me. Highly recommended!!

Really great business to deal with. Excellent communication and the staff namely Peter the salesman have been first class. I am also in the sales industry and know how important customer service is and this company has it in spades. Really great service and they made 100% sure that they were happy with the vehicle before they let me take it away. I also part exchanged a vehicle and the whole process was extremely seamless.
